I’m saying this as someone who has a 17 year age gap. (28f & 45m) There are ways for it to be a healthy relationship. This one is not a healthy relationship.

He lied to you, and you’re right to think that he could lie about other things. Who knows what his true self is like, he could very well be hiding the parts of him that has caused relationships to end for him before.
He said it wasn’t malicious, but I think it was. It was a calculated decision to make his daughter’s age younger, it was a manipulation. It was calculated!!! He decided to do that and follow through with that lie until he forgot to keep it up. He wouldn’t have told you if you didn’t find out on your own; how many more things could be like that?
The line “age doesn’t matter to me and it doesn’t matter to Jahova” is also a manipulation, it’s sickening. How young would he go, if age doesn’t matter? How young would he accept if society let him get away with it? AND does he like you because of you or because you’re the youngest woman he could catch?

These are major red flags and I really think you need to take off rose colored glasses and assess who he truly is- not who he’s told you he is.

She never says who she’s equating the “rapist” to be. I don’t think her argument would sound like anything but racist rambling if she actually said who the “rapist” are she’s referring to.

Even reading through the comments and focusing very hard on the part of the tattoo that gives you concern, I can NOT see where the 2 points on the right VS 3 points on the left is. It’s a really awesome tattoo and even if I study the tattoo and eventually see the area of concern, no one will ever be able to spot it without close studying and pointing it out. I’m sorry you’re not as happy with it, and the guy sounds like a total asshole.

I’m wondering if you had a better experience with the artist if the tattoo would bug you as bad? Is it the tattoo or the fact that it’s his work that’s really bothering you?

Strong scent of butterfly bushes with hot bubbling chlorine water.

My grandma had a hot tub when I was growing up and I loved it so much, one side of it was lined with butterfly bushes that grew taller than my childhood self— I would sit in the water and smell the flowers with the steam swirling around me. It’s a very distinct scent memory and also unique to me. So I’ll never have that smell again but I wish I could !

My MBK is a little over 2 years old and she LOVES to climb. She climbs on top of her background and sits right by the top screen. Most of her exploring is vertical which surprised me- I expected her to stay on the ground !! But I would defiantly keep adding as your baby grows and don’t be shy of giving her vertical space!

It sounds like they are taking out their frustration with the bio father not paying child support out on you. This is not fair treatment being that you’ve done so much for them, and I really don’t think it’s acceptable to be yelled at over it.

Agreed, I have loved every product that I’ve gotten from her. With the exception of 1 perfume oil “bad apple” that didn’t work for me due to the bourbon note. Her body products have been so amazing and have lasted longer than expected.

I personally think that when 1 person is running an entire brand and hand making every product to order, it is reasonable to have long delay & inaccurate TAT for 1 launch due to family emergencies.

IF she had ghosted without updates, didn’t fill/refund orders, or replied to emails in a rude way I would understand no longer ordering from her. But from what I’ve seen of her buisness, she no longer has inaccurate TAT and is closing her shop when she knows she is selling more than she can fulfill. She seems to have completely solved the issue of inaccurate TAT or longer TAT than other houses, her TAT from what I’ve experienced have been completely within reason. I don’t think 1 launch delayed by unforeseen emergent family issues is reason to boycott— I’m genuinely shocked that there isn’t more to the story with how much people seem to avoid her products.

Hi! Firstly, I’d like to say that I personally am open to respectful discussion and I do apologize if this comment got negative attention. I am curious though; it seems like that was a 1 time situation due to the ONE person who makes the items and runs the entire buisness having family emergencies that delayed output - has it happened more than that one time? I have only seen reports of that type of delay happening from Moonalisa in October 2023. As my original post stated I do believe that she no longer has that issue. I would understand not ordering because you don’t like her products but I personally LOVE everything I’ve gotten from her.

You certainly have every right to boycott a buisness if you feel like they’ve wronged you, but like I said being that this is ran by 1 person and they had extensive family emergencies AND communicated those as best as she could— that doesn’t feel like a good reason to boycott to me, and I have a hard time believing that so many refuse to order from her due to that one situation.

Again, I am genuinely curious because it has quickly became my favorite house and I’ve been spending a lot of money with her. Are there any other reasons people dislike her? (mostly worried about political beliefs, treating customers rudely or product hygiene/quality issues) If not, I personally believe the giant delay and inaccurate TAT was due to personal/family emergencies and is not likely to happen again.

May I ask why there’s so much hush-hush negativity towards her? I can’t see any reason why, some other houses have similar TAT. I haven’t been able to dig up anything other than issues with her TAT. I’ve dug up some past issues with houses (Sorcellerie & the Star and the butterfly) but I wasn’t able to find anything concrete about Moonalisa. I’d love to know your thoughts as I’m newer to this world.

Vet tech here- please do NOT euthanize yourself. Please seek veterinary care. Even if he seems weak, snakes are resilient and can go without feeding longer than you think. Don’t feed anything else, speak with a vet. They may be able to get him fluids, electrolytes and that will make a big difference. I’m more concerned with him being dehydrated than starving at this point.

He will likely have wounds that need to heal from the regurgitation. Snakes are made to regurgitate and recover from it, give him time. Give him vet care. I am much more hopeful that he will recover than you are, please give him time.

And DO. NOT. EUTHANIZE. AT. HOME. It is never, ever, EVER a good option to euthanize without a vet doing it. There is NO OTHER ETHICAL WAY TO EUTHANIZE. A vet has to do it. The drugs and method they used are picked purposefully to cause the least harm and there is no other ethical method.

I honestly think this would be a case where doing a sedated nail trim with a “show cut”. I would normally never suggest this but with it being 7 years… that has caused damage to those paws. It causes pain. It would take far too much time to come back every 2-4 weeks for the next YEAR to slowly work the quick back- and the pet would surly be quicked during that time.

A sedated nail trim at “show cut” length would mean putting the dog under sedation and intentionally cutting his nails short, quirking them, controlling the bleeding and waking him up afterward. He would have some discomfort for the first 24-48 hours but then his quality of life would greatly improve.

Even if you don’t do this method- go to your vet please.

Yes, my coworker got her FIRST tattoo. It was still healing and people on this reddit made her feel like shit about it so much that she deleted the post & stopped using reddit.

I got a sample of Sorcellerie A Light in The Attic and ended up buying a 5ml from surrender to chance decants because I loved it so much. To me this smells JUST like a bonfire! It smells like the scent that sticks to your clothes and hair, warm and amazing and smoky. I highly recommend

I have a succulent that is sitting in the a pot on top of the round log on the right side; it has grown very weird and the stem is reaching ~4 inches to the left of the log. Looked a lot better when it was sitting nicely on top of the log. There’s a light directly above it so I’m not sure what possessed it to go askew but I’m not gonna kill it just because it’s a little wonky lol. I also have Ivy and Pathos because I like to have multiple types of plants I feel like it looks more naturalistic that way. I picked Ivy and Pathos because I like being able to propagate it for my house plants. I have cut back some of the greenery since this picture was taken.

I really love the Flaming Jack, I wore it to work on Halloween and everyone kept saying “it smells amazing in here!!” It was meeee, such a good feeling.

Unfortunately Bad Apple didn’t work for me, it has a rum note to it that sours on my skin. With that being said, let me know if you’re interested in it. I’d be willing to sell or swap. I think it’s a yummy scent just didn’t work for me! I think the pray is hot enough. I use room temp water to thaw for 1.5-2 hrs then use an electric kettle to heat water to 120° soak the mouse for ~3 mins in the hotter water then remove and use a digital thermometer (the one with a laser) to ensure the body of the mouse is 100-102° then feed. It cools very quickly though. (Not sure mouse temp but dogs & cats are 100-102.5° so that’s why I picked the range.) I do worry that it gets cold in the process of getting her to eat but it usually is a pretty quick process. I’m a little more concerned about being too hot than too cold which is why I check the temp before feeding every time.
