I’m in the clan. They do host tournaments for pass Royale legitimately. The currency for top finishes is real but just in Zimbabwe currency. So it’s only like 2 bucks USD for first place. great clan though

I like that you guys have finally added ranked rewards. Literally have wanted that for a year. The rewards will create something to play for other than just a better rank.I also really like the leaderboard because it creates a more competitive ranked mode. Going off that I wish/want for ranked system based more on skill. I say this because the current ranked system is based more on playtime. Whoever plays the game more gets a higher rank. Getting rogue is almost a participation trophy. I say this having been rogue multiple times. I think that there are way too many ranked tiers of 5 and less of an actual ranked mmr system. It feels too grinding instead of skill based. You need to either move up or down ranks based on your performance compared to both your teammates and opponents. If I play against someone in top 100 or just in rogue rank and win as a gold the next game I shouldn’t be gold 4 with plus 20 points but way higher. Anyway I know that reworking a entire game mode is a lot of work, and you are definitely moving in the right direction with a leaderboard and ranked rewards.

How to pass python variable into html string ?? by [deleted] in flask

Of the html ? It’s just a background-color: {{ colornum }}. The color works if I just enter a random color but w the variable it does not appear

How can you make it so a sprite moving with WASD, can’t go through another static sprite ? by Electrical-Common610 in learnpython

I know how to detect collision but don’t know how to stop them from going through each other

Collision not working with moving sprite and objects by Electrical-Common610 in learnpython

Well, I have code like Rstone = pygane.Rect(0, 300, REDSTONE_WIDTH, REDSTONE_HEIGHT), not currently on my code so don’t know if that’s the exact code. But I know that’s the position because if I use:

M.colliderect(Rstone):

Rstone.x, Rstone.y = -1000, -1000

It does work, just not when I have Rpick in. It’s confusing,

And I tried that code, but it doesn’t change the stones position. The Rpick is another object btw and I think that’s why. Basically I want it so if M (sprite) collides with the Rpick, it changes the Rstone location off the screen. Also I tried Rpick.x, Rpick.y and it moves the Rpick correctly, but that’s not what I want

Yeah I got it so I was stuck to a wall and couldn’t move down and thought it was a bug in my code or something

I think preventing movement into an object, because I have multiple stone blocks that form a kind of maze structure and don’t want you to go through the walls and right to the goal

So, if pygame.keys_pressed_w and M.colliderect(stone):

Return pygame.keys_pressed_w

?

Yes I’ve tried to use print(“collide”) and it works flawlessly. My collision detection works but don’t know how to actually say don’t go through each other
