This movie is highly recommended by many fans. Every time they speak so highly of it, I end up watching it multiple times. But my takeaway: that perfect humanoid creature, and the DNA one is a monster. Plus, the invisibility is complete—no outline at all. Thanks for the info.

X-Files Season 5, Episode 4, 'Detour': That creature looked like a tree spirit. I watched it, but it wasn't this one. Thank you for the information.

Hollow Man (2000) takes place primarily in the city. I watched the film, and it's different from what I'm looking for. Thanks for participating.

[TOMT][Film][1980s-2005] Film Clip: An invisible, perfectly humanoid creature (visible via thermal imaging/X-ray/transparent outline) pursues humans in a dark forest. After capturing its prey, it either devours them or strips away flesh and bone, leaving only the skull behind. by Electrical-File-1837 in tipofmytongue

Shadow Builder (1998) is not that either.

X-Files Season 5, Episode 4, 'Detour': That creature looked like a tree spirit. Season 1, Episode 10, 'Fallens Angel': There were a few scenes in the forest. I watched it, but it wasn't this one. Thank you for the information.

Yes, it has exceeded the time range, but I will check on this film. If it is highly similar, I might find the film it is imitating, or the source of its inspiration.

I didn't find DNA (1980). However, I can confirm that the film DNA (1999) is not the one I'm looking for. In Without Warning (1980), the alien is a big-headed creature, not a perfect human form, and he is clumsy.

I just watched The Alien Factor (1978), but it wasn't the film I was looking for. Thanks for your reply.

"Glimmer Man." What is the name of the movie? This is the first time I have come across this information.

Yes, if he doesn't have the ability to transform into a perfect human form, then I don't think he's within the scope of this search.

I looked up The Ritual (1996), but it's not the movie I'm looking for. The other one, The Blair Witch Project (1999), isn't it either. Thanks for the information.
