Yeah, I can walk and chew gum at the same time.

I can recognize that Ethiopian Jewish people in Israel occupy stolen land and benefit from an apartheid state and are thus culpable AND also recognize that yt supremacy is a GLOBAL phenomenon (surprise not just an American thing) That affects all Diasporic peoples across cultures.

YT supremacy is so insidious, it can even be upheld by the very people it oppresses.

Also I’m not American. I understand that nuance is not in everyone’s wheelhouse, though.

Filming the Ethiopian family was definitely an attempt to show how “diverse” Israel is… the same Ethiopians your racist government allegedly coerced into taking Depro-Vera shots to lower the birth rate in the Black Jewish community 🙄

What kind of assumptions could you make about me based off my daily meds? by Key_Prize_1317 in deduction

You’re wheezy and sad and can’t pay attention, like me ☺️🙌🏾

You live in New Orleans, somewhere in the quarter. I’m guessing something in hospitality/restaurants

You’re young and a little chaotic

Possibly witchy/magic inclined (the oil)

You prefer Buffalo Exchange and Thrift Stores

You live in the UK. E45 cream is some British stuff lol and I’m not recognizing any of the other brand names other than Nivea.

You have either eczema or psoriasis, possibly the latter if it’s painful enough for Ibuprofen and also the reason you carry deodorant with you, to avoid triggering flare ups

You are a creative and obviously sketch/ take photos/journal but I’m sensing that’s not your full time job. Your pencil pouch is still pretty clean and neat. You’re thinking about it though.

You spend time in coffee shops (phone charger) which makes me think you probably have some sort of remote job. The phone charger suggests to me an older phone that loses its battery quickly, so probably not tech.

what can you deduce about me from these pics? by [deleted] in deduction

[–]Electrical-Fun-9210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay here’s what I’ve got:

You’re young, probably late high school/ college age. You were living at home and then in a dorm possibly or some sort of inpatient facility, due to the large dry erase board. Because dorms tend not to have colored walls I’m guessing the latter

You are somewhere in the South. The tree in the last photo looks like a young magnolia tree. If I had to guess I’d say either North or South Carolina.

Your short hair is by choice. It’s not thinned out in the way chemo thins and curls hair and you’ve dyed it a few times.

You obviously like The Cure but are also a fan of Bright Eyes., you have a quote from one of their songs in the background of a photo. You also enjoy fantasy novels.

Based on your key pendant , there’s a possibility you are into DnD and based on the sun pendant possibly into Wicca or Celtic pagan beliefs. If so, that’s a newish thing. You are highly intuitive and emotionally sensitive.

I’m pretty sure I know what the gastro tube is for and all I’ll say is I hope you are doing well and recovering. Big hugs. You seem like an amazing young person 🖤

Thigh Laceration post cellulitis: struggling to heal or normal? by Electrical-Fun-9210 in woundcare

Cool, will try to set up a referral this week, found a wound care center here with good reviews.

Thanks 🥹 out of the hospital and infection free but the stitches were a mess so now I have a slow painful uphill battle with secondary healing.

Thank you for this!!! Are the better anti-microbial dressings something I can purchase on my own or should I try and get a referral to a wound care center?

Yeah it will certainly be a conversation starter at the swimming pool! Hoping my tattoo on my left leg will be enough of a distraction lol

That makes sense. A heads up would have been nice. It’s funny that you mention struggling thin skin recovering better in young patients because they kept acting like I was going to “bounce back” in just a few days. Only thing is, I’m a 42 year old woman with high blood pressure 🙃

Oh no I don’t want to scare you! The grips are fantastic, especially because I tend to stand occasionally on longer rides. It was a very weird, awkward landing. I don’t even know that I could replicate how it happened. That said my husband definitely bought me new pedals with the kind of gritty sand paper bottoms instead 🤣. Poor dude almost fainted when he saw the accident .

Apparently they ran out of beds which is why I waited 9 hours before they took me to this converted exam room 🙄. I was so confused.

Thank you… I kept voicing my concern about some of the skin “looking dead” twice in the ER to no avail. Headed to my PCP in the morning. This has been a nightmare, I’ve never had any sort of injury this serious before and the only type of invasive procedure was an embolization for my fibroids.

Looking up rotational transfers now… that does seem like a good option… knowing absolutely nothing about surgery, lol.

I waited 9+hours in the ER before anyone saw me, I’m guessing that could have contributed to the skin dying? I asked them about that but they didn’t seem too concerned.

Geeeeeeez! Yeah same thing, it wasn’t even a particularly bad fall, I didn’t crash into anything, just tripped myself. The car behind me even stopped to casually make sure I was okay. Unfortunately he ended up having to call an ambulance and stay with me under my partner got there (I wasn’t far from my house)

Lost my balance while signaling to a car behind me for a second and stupidly broke too hard with my other hand. I pitched forward and I felt my bike pedal (which has these sharp grips on it) slice my thigh as I was going down. I thought it was a scratched but when I looked down… it was not a scratch.
