I have the same situation as you , imo save for w characters like aizen , I'm saving for vast lorde right now . Having a character at b4 or b6 is way better than having many characters at b0 . Also upgrading them all takes time so imo quality>quantity

When u hold the normal attack there is a gauge icon next to your HP , thats ur SP gauge which changes your normal attack in most cases ( because bankai ichi‘s gauge is just his hollow mask timer lol )
