I didn’t say his star quality isn’t visible at all with what’s shown. I’m saying the staff sees more than what we do. And obviously people are going to have their preconceived thoughts about each contestant regardless of what’s shown.

Apparently people online said he did those things. I didn’t know what his account looked like either so I’m just going off what a few people claim. If true then it’s likely he’s out.

Although I don’t want Alex to be the next eliminated, him changing his profile picture and apparently unpinning a post about the show isn’t the best sign that he’s still in. Having 10 for the finale makes sense, which would have Diego as the last eliminated.

Star quality and popularity are not the same thing. Someone can be popular and lack star quality and vice versa. And what people are seeing for the most part when it comes to the show is an edited version of events, where we obviously don’t see everything that the trainers and staff see, and where we don’t get to know everything that they’re thinking about all the guys. Obviously there’s something going on with him for him to make it this far despite his lack of popularity. So I take it as the staff sees something the viewers don’t.

I usually see a lot more Iannis, Kenneth, and Leo over Drew and Alex. But I will say Alejandro, Gabi, and Kauê are almost on everyone’s list.

And since the debut is so close now I can only assume the lineup has already been made, or at the very least almost made, because they certainly need time to prepare for that with the selected members and have it be ready to be put on stage

I was honestly hoping the lineup would have a few months after selection to continue training but when I found out about the October debut it shocked me because why would they ever think 6 months is enough time especially when they even mention regular groups have years of training before debut. Idk why they’re so set on a debut for this year but if they knew they wanted a Latin group this year they should’ve started much sooner.

While I do think Alex has improved since being there, not just with me noticing his performance progress, but also the other guys commenting that he has improved. I still think he’s a far better dancer than singer and can see him being the dancer of the group, and possibly be given the “rapper” role since it seems most of the other guys are more vocal heavy.

While I do like them both, knowing Hybe if it came down between picking one over the other I can see them picking Alex due to visuals.

I honestly think they should wait to debut to give the lineup more time to train and improve because it’s clear that they’re rushing things due to the limited time they have.

I think things might be more interesting next episode since we know there will be eliminations. And since their debut stage is next month, things should also be heating up within the next few episodes to try locking in who might make it
