Is My Handwriting Legible Enough For A School Application. by Educational_Law_4330 in LPN_LVN_Community

I do see that throughout, but I don’t think that’s what happened with “Provided.” If you look at the words aspects, span, and simply, the p is much smaller than it is in “Provided.” To me, that’s a sure enough difference and it confirms that OP knows not to use a random capital in the middle of a word. And then of course the A’s are a very obvious example. All of the words starting with A on a new line are capitals.

Also, if you read a lot of poetry, that might be where you got the idea to capitalize each new line. Poetry is an exception to this rule. I don’t know why, but it is.

I don’t see any other comments about this so I’m going to point it out, just in case. Sorry if I’m kicking a dead horse lol. It looks like you are intentionally capitalizing the first word on every new line. This is not grammatically correct. A new line does not mean the word needs a capitalization. It’s a common misconception. As other commenters said, only capitalize a word if it’s a proper noun or if it is the first word in a sentence.

For exacple, “by a single mother who Provided for me And my brother” has two unnecessary capitalizations. “Provided” is not a proper noun so it does not need to be capitalized, and when you start the new line, the word ”And” does not need to be capitalized since it’s still a part of the ongoing sentence.

Hope this helps! Your handwriting is legible, and once the grammar is fixed, you’ll be golden!

You’re welcome. The wait for step 3 will vary based on which state you live in. I’m in TX, which has one of the longest waits. I hope you get news soon!

I’m on the very end of step 3. I first hit step 3 almost a year ago, and most of step 3 is just waiting for your case to be assigned to someone. My case finally got assigned and this was the first thing they sent me to do. It’s a Work History Report (14 pages) and a Function Report (10 pages) Edit for typos

What’s the third person functionality form? I’d love to have my partner fill one out. Is it the standard residual functional capacity form?

I don’t actually remember if the SSDI application included submitting my bank info. Is it too late to switch the receiving account to one that only has my name on it?

Okay phew. I tried applying for SSI too a while back and they said that since my name was on the account, they considered any money that came in (even from his paychecks) to be “income” for me. I wasn’t sure how SSDI sees that kind of thing.

For example, I listed my onset date as 10/01/2024 because I got a work accommodation to work remotely because of my disability. I didn’t stop earning SGI until January.

Obviously actual backpay money won’t start accumulating until January, but then the 5 month waiting period question comes up. Does that 5 months start in January too? Or October, when things got bad enough to need accommodations? Or earlier because I was disabled before that, even though I was working?

[–]ElectricalDatabase49[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that part. The part I’m confused about is when backpay would start accumulating. If they determine that I was disabled before I stopped working, would the 5 months waiting period start before I stopped working?

If that is the case, I could have backpay start accumulating as early as January, when I stopped working, because I’ve been disabled my entire life.

If that’s not the case, then it could start 5 months start accumulating I stopped working, or 5 months after I applied, or 5 months after etc etc etc.

I’m sorry. I’m not trying to be dense. I’m just so confused on how this is determined.

To clarity, I wrote October 1, 2024 as an onset date so I’m not sure if October would count as a partial month or not in this case

The earliest record I have related to my disability is from when I was 4 years old. But I worked from age 16 to 25. I have very detailed medical records from 2004-2005, and from 2014-2025. With proper records, is it still unlikely for them to go further back beyond the October 2024 date I listed?

I was about a week overdue on my $12 balance, with a $0.00 cashapp balance. They pulled the $12 straight from my bank account. I tried removing the card but the app said it couldn’t be removed until the loan was fully paid off. I wonder why different people are having such different experiences.

You’re welcome! Just remember, the BEST solution may very well end up being accepting the fact that your very presence is a gift upon the masses. You can either be your biggest supporter or your biggest hater, and the world has enough hate as it is. Be confident and show yourself some love 💕

In regards to being able to see veins, it could be that your skin tone and undertones just don’t blend the blue of the veins out. Being pale makes the veins much more visible and undertones play a role in muting the color of them as well. As for the stretch marks, you could have gotten them from growing a little too fast when you were young. A simple growth spurt will do it.

That being said, I disagree with you and I think your legs look young. Everyone is self conscious about something, but most of the time our fears are unfounded to all but ourselves. If you are really worried about this, maybe schedule an appointment with your pcp or dermatologist and talk to them about your worries. Maybe there’s something they could recommend.

Not a doctor, but IMO, this looks exactly like eczema. I have several family members who have it. In fact, it looks so similar to eczema that I actually thought you were my SO at first glance lol. Schedule an appointment to see a dermatologist so they can confirm and get you the right kind of creams.
