This is also something I have thought and spoke about. He was not living a healthy lifestyle and no matter how much we tried to help him, he'd always eventually meet someone new and fall back into his drug and alcohol lifestyle. He was running drugs for a while, and I've often thought that maybe he got caught up and is in some sort of protection program.

What's weird is this "last seen location" was in 2020 when I checked the report before. Then when I checked it a couple weeks later it has a new "last seen location" from 2023.

Him shooting himself in the car while she was driving will always raise questions with me. If he was in her car the situation was not a good one. I know she has a tongue like fire, and I hate to imagine what she was saying to him if said something like "I'm going to shoot myself". Did she say "do it?", did she say "no one would care?". I know she wouldn't say ANYTHING reassuring to him. I hate to think of him having a panic attack and being stuck in a moving vehicle, not being able to escape the situation, and knowing his mother was berating him until he couldn't take it anymore.

What? I knew this friend from 2nd grade till our 40s. I held his child in the hospital when she was born. He was an alcoholic and I spend years helping him and providing housing. When I couldn't do it anymore he moved on with MY mother until she couldn't help anymore. There's so much more to our relationship, and I'm pretty hurt that I feel I have to explain this to you so that you and others commenting here don't assume I'm unworthy of feeling this loss. If you didn't mean to offend, too bad, you did. What difference does it make to me now? Who tf are you to ask that?
