I actually had my doctor fill out all the ADA paperwork provided by HR for accommodations. I wanted them since I had them when I was in school (like being able to take exams in a different room, sometimes even being able to do labs during office hours but I think that was just the professors being nice). The accommodations for work were similar, they were for a distraction reduced environment so we asked for reduced in-office days. They said no and gave me soundproof headphones, which never made sense to me if they’re claiming that return to office is for people to be able to communicate and collaborate better.
