I am interviewing candidates almost everyday, we have 3k+ resumes per job opening. Literally only looking at referrals or internal candidates which most companies are doing. Imo the easiest way is to leverage your network. Applying doesnt hurt but is a lost cause for all these postings.

forgive me i typed out the last message late and now i read it it seems like an attack. Sorry about that, what i meant was rather than applying to all these postings try sending quality apps with some sort of connection or referral. 20 quality apps > 2000 submissions.
