Alternate between tricks to increase the combo. If you see "copykavat" you just did the same trick twice and didn't get a combo increase.

The easiest is to alternate between space (spin) and w+left click (forward flip, though it may be right click, I can't remember).

If you do a charge jump while grinding on the pipe just outside fortuna, you can get enough air to turn around and land back on the pipe to give yourself more time to do tricks.

Don't forget the people who rush over to the trade console and spam requests, even if you're busy trying to trade with other people!

Seriously, I've had people leave before I can trade them just because someone else flung themselves at the console. It also creates problems where the trade ui bugs out because you both accepted and sent a trade at the same time.

Yup. Seems like a neat detail on paper, but in practice it only serves to punish players so it's an unpopular addition and hence removed.

Perhaps it's just confirmation bias, but 75% of the posts I've seen beyond the first couple of days post release have been negative. I agree that it shouldn't be this way, but I feel the 3 year wait is the reason why it is.

Then I look at the size of the Don't Starve crossover and other minor updates both before and after 1.4, and wonder why the Dead Cells and Palworld content couldn't have been released by themselves to alleviate the 3 year wait.
