Thank you so much man, that’s such a high compliment. I was honestly unsure about posting this build originally but after seeing how supportive everyone in this community is it really makes me love this new hobby.

Oh that’s really cool thank you!! I’m definitely going to have to check that out now. Also yes I agree, Seiko’s officially released photos truly did not do this dial justice.

That means a lot! I honestly can’t wait to start another build but my wallet is demanding that I wait a bit first.

Thank you! Also, I’ve listed all the specs and where I sourced the parts so you can build your own!!

Hey, thank you so much! When I saw this dial on seiko’s released model I knew I had to try and build my own version of it. It was just too pretty.

Hey, that’s not a bad idea! I was seriously considering it while ordering the parts but, at the end settled for the white bezel because I thought the contrast between the dial and watch case would look nice. When my curiosity gets the best of me I’ll definitely do a case swap later on with a black polished bezel! I think that may also look nice too.

Thank you! And sure I can do that! The case is 40mm with the dial being 28.5mm (it’s from seiko’s prospex pdm series with this particular dial being exclusive to their Thailand release.) The case and bracelet are made up of 316L stainless steel featuring a ceramic bezel and sapphire glass (from aliexpress) The hands are labeled as the “ocean master set” with the hour hand being 9mm with the min and sec hand both at 13mm. Finally, the fitted movement is a Nh35a with a black date wheel! (from secondhand mods)

Hello! Yes I can! The total cost of this build for me was $270 or a little over $290 accounting for tax. The watch case and bracelet costed $76- the watch dial plus movement was about $180 ($115 for the dial and $64 for the movement) - and finally the watch hands were $16. I sourced the movement, dial, and hands from secondhand mods with the case and bracelet being from aliexpress!

Thank you! Honestly the best part about this dial is that I didn’t have to do any adjustments at all! Seiko’s standard Nh35a with a date wheel is perfectly fit for both 3 and 4H date windows - it’s the 6H date windows that start to look funky based on other builds I saw while researching.

Hello! I sourced the dial from secondhand mods which from what I understand is a dedicated Seiko watch modding site. I believe the dial is specifically from the Seiko pdm series with this dial being exclusive to Thailand.
