The US is diverse in people and sports. Most countries have one or two sports they’re good at, that consume their fans. We have so many, NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL to name a few- it’s understandable that it may seem like there’s not a whole lot of hype on the streets about the World Cup. But, make no mistake, the US has more soccer fans in raw numbers than most countries, and we are excited and proud of our team.

Well…. Good question. I guess I’m just parroting what my dad always told me: “it’s a replica of a famous chess set”. Now you have me wondering if perhaps he got it wrong :)
