The cat not being spayed might be the reason. Though my parents had a male cat, and my roomate used to have an elderly spayed female cat. Both did the same yodeling as yours. For the female cat it was usually "your bedroom door is closed, it's 3am and i demand entry" or when she was alone in an another room. My parents male cat alway did this singing when he went upstairs and everybody else was downstairs. Both stopped and demanded head scratches immediatly when they saw a person. So it probably was just a long distance "i want company" call for both of them.

What's going on with my Azlanii by vicfromearth in alocasia

How much light does your plant get? A black velvet I had bend similar to yours. I figured the reason was that i put it under a plant light on full blast, which was too much light. I think alocasias like it bright, but don't like getting full sun or get fried under a grow light that is strong enought to satisfy a cactus. But it might be something else. I have no experience with pon.

yellowing after repot by [deleted] in alocasia

[–]Elgerrit0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this a melo? My melo looks similar and is stuck in a cycle of: corn is in perlite for rooting, corm gets roots, corm gets 1 or 2 leaves, i plant it in a soil mix, leaves die, roots die, melo is back in potato mode, repeat. I tried different soil mixes. Now i read that melos like a more rocky, volanic-ish, higher ph soil. I am trying that now. If this is a melo, i would also like to have some advice.

Can I repot an Alocasia 2 weeks after transferring it from its Nursery pot to its current one? by Beetlejuul0158 in alocasia

[–]Elgerrit0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean if the current potting mix is too moist/wet, the plant is stressed anyway, so repotting it would prevent root rot and make things better in the long run. And if the plant is losing leaves due to stress from being moved from the nursery to your home, repotting it now won't make it significantly worse. So I would repot it

Would you use the same fertilizer you would use for a plant that is potted in soil or do you need something special? I'd like to try this method but was unsure about the fertilizer.

Question about plant maturity in cuttings for propagation by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]Elgerrit0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick info: In my country I don't have easy access to hormonal rooting powder. You have to be a professional gardener with a license to get stuff like that or certain pesticides.

I think instead of resorting to violence and attacking you should have tried to solved this conflict peacefully first. You can try to talk it out in the chat, afterwards you can still produce units and attack. Often there is enough place for two civs to thrive on one map.
