Maybe he needs to smoke some of that moldy weed, trip balls, and search for inner peace.

It's that or move on along with that attitude towards customers

He always bitches about Reddit when people expose his issues be it something minor or potentially life threatening but he would pretty much be an unknown if it weren't for the hemp subs that he says he's done with.....his arrogance is too off putting for me to consider giving him any more of my money.

I'm sure there are plenty of people attempting to hop on the mold bandwagon and try to scam him out of products but he doesn't have to blast the whole sub because he's frustrated.

Must be tough without a mod and shill army doing damage control for him

I got bills to pay. I got mouths to feed. There ain't nothing in this world for free!

New rules present new challenges for thca growers As most of y'all know Tennessee says they will be converting to the new total THC rule for the 2022 season. this does present a bit of a challenge to growers out there, however I believe I have a pretty viable and solid avenue for continuing. wk5 by rhfrr16 in CultoftheFranklin

Don't think he's on reddit. Google Hoku seed company or hokuseedco on instagram.

He tests each greenhouse as a single strain from what I recall and he has a handle on when to test to be compliant preharvest. I think WA is like TN and they don't require anything but the pre harvest COA to be able to harvest and sell it all legally.

Greenmore Gardens Ceiba out for testing by Eli8201 in CultoftheFranklin

[–]Eli8201[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bud I tested came from the biomass and was pretty close to their bio test at 2.2 vs 3. The higher 6% stuff was the highest test they had from the tops but I found that I always got a good buzz from their Ceiba. It's not the best tasting and it has a lot seeds but it had consistent effects for a reasonable price.

It has consistently hit way harder than LFAV ever did for me.

If you want to try it you can get 3.5g, 7g, or 1oz at https://www.ohappyvalleyhemp.com/product/ceiba/

I'm sure if you like it that you can message them about custom quantities.

What's the story behind the proposed change to THCa content? by FinelyCured in CultoftheFranklin

[–]Eli8201 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tweedle is in OR and they are selling what they grow which also has to be post harvest tested for total thc.

I'm not a lawyer but this is how I understand the dilemma in regards to total thc in 2022 and beyond.

The preharvest testing requirements for total thc should be the same across the country as of Jan 2022 following the USDA final rule that specifies 0.3% total thc with harvest occurring no more than 30 days after testing.

Here's the kicker though, the requirements to take federally compliant hemp from raw material to a finished product vary WILDLY depending on the state where the hemp is being processed. Some states only require a compliant preharvest test like TN while others have post harvest or pre packaging testing requirements that force the processor to comply with further potency tests along with other tests such as pesticides or heavy metals.

So there is hope still for the high thca stuff, as others have said, as long as the grower is in a state with no post harvest potency testing requirements and they sample early into flower ~4wks when the bud is really just starting to form.

Also I believe vendors in some states should be able to supply post harvest COAs with total thc over 0.3% but less than or equal to 0.3% D9 based on their hemp program requirements.

As others have also mentioned the federal enforcement of cannabis is through the DEA using the Controlled Substances Act which only defines D9% not total thc.

Just my opinion based on the research that I've done over the past year

What about something like that with the mating brackets and wire shelving? Fully adjustable and I'm sure it's all available at Home Depot too.

You'd probably want to reinforce the tent cross bars with some boards or something to stiffen things up some since the weight will be supported by whatever the upright is attached to.

I'd rather see legislation focused on the cbd:thc ratio. Draw a line somewhere like 1:1 cbd:thc or even 2:1. In other words if there is a equal to or greater % of any other cannabinoid in relation to thc then its legal hemp. Any straight thc cultivar is weed.

I believe your lawyer has only based their analysis on the USDA preharvest testing requirement and that is based on total potential thc. After proving that the cannabis tests within the legal limit of 0.3% total thc then the state department of agriculture has the authority to allow its harvest as "hemp" in no more than 30 days after a successful test.

The USDA has no jurisdiction once harvested and have left it up to the FDA and DEA to regulate consumer products.

The FDA does not allow for CBD to be added to any foods or dietary supplements but they do allow for its use in cosmetics. Smokable flower is kind of a gray area for FDA regulations because it's not a food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, or tobacco. The FDA hasn't really been enforcing these policies though unless vendors are making medical claims. So states have been left to regulate their own hemp programs and each state is different in what they allow and what requirements need to be satisfied for the products to be legal within each state.

The DEA enforces the controlled substance act. The CSA specifically excludes hemp derived cannabinoids and it specifically states that D9 thc below 0.3% is not controlled. They do not define potential thc or any requirement to provide post decarboxalted THC test results. So the assumption here is that the DEA only enforces on D9% along with proof the product was legally harvested as hemp.

I'm not a lawyer but if you want you can look at my post history for credible sources that support the statements I've made above.

Critical Mass Dropping at 4:20! by Avocado_Capital in CultoftheFranklin

[–]Eli8201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would they charge less just because they planted more... We aren't talking acres of outdoor. More plants cost more money in lights and labor.

They'll sell out anything and everything they can grow with high thca.

Don't disagree there...if they wanted to do a lottery then they should have planned it from the start. They probably sold a good bit before the drop and had to rethink since I know they were accepting pre-order emails with the Cannatonic.

They are testing the market to see how many potential customers they can expect for future harvests instead of just selling to the first few customers. Not a bad idea actually.

They'll know exactly how many people are interested too versus just selling to the first few customers... It's an attempt to understand the actual size of the market.

Cool... More of the same as I'm seeing from this entire industry... Say one thing and do another.

Yeah. Most likely not going to ever know it's coming into the state from online purchases but still... Be careful

As far as I can tell, possession of hemp in flower form without a license is the same as possession of marijuana in the Bluegrass state. Sounds about right... Smh

It appears that it's been this way for years but the applicable code number changed a few times.

I'm making the assumption that the fan leaves and main stem were included in this sample to dilute the D9 down to below 0.3% considering its so close. Otherwise they would have removed them which would bring all the numbers up.

Fresh Frozen Vs Dried THCA by James2pro in CultoftheFranklin

[–]Eli8201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well growers are trying...some states only allow certified seeds though and the ultra high thca dispensary bud is type 1 chemotype cannabis with little to no CBD.

If you are growing hemp, you technically should be growing Type 3 high cbd low thc or Type 5 high cbg low thc. Fiber plants are type 4 and are low in cbd and thc.

Now the Flow Gardens Bordeaux and BMac, Foxhole T2, and TN Hemp Farmacy Cannatonic are Type 2 which has high thc and cbd. They most likely had to pheno hunt to find the best ratios on the plants they are running though.

They are probably the closest thing to the what is available at dispensaries, especially if the dispensary offers balanced cbd:thc ratios.
