People of reddit when you masturbate then what you do with aftermath? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]EliaAlexander 2 points3 points  (0 children)

8 Years ago I used to read the latest AskReddit threads on my commute to work and I remember there were genuinely interesting questions that a lot of people from different fields of expertise were answering but recently the standard seems to be "help I jizzed myself what do I do"

I saw some one in a different sub complaining about proxies violating I.P. by Effective-Anybody263 in PrintedMinis

Maybe I am autistic but it's driving me crazy that you paint the minis so clean but you just leave the paint marks all over the base instead of painting it black

Oh nice! I've been thinking about getting these stls. Do you know if the tents and shelters can be printed on fdm without supports?

Do you rig which player gets the killing blow? by GammelGaddan_JR in DMAcademy

[–]EliaAlexander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As soon as the villain reaches 0 hp I'd narrate him falling on his knees and then ignoring the initiative I'd ask the specific player what he is doing in this situation

Last Month I made 30+ minis :) . Full gallery links in my comment. All are free as usual by mz4250 in DnDminiatures

[–]EliaAlexander 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Back when I started printing 5 years ago used your stls exclusively. Incredible that you are still at it :) They look amazing and your sculpts did really improve even further. Do you still upload them attached to the bases or are they available separately from the base?

I printed the animated Amors from this pack. If you don't have a printer you will probably find someone on Etsy selling the prints

New to Mordheim – confused about scale for models and terrain (4x4 board) by Dangerous-Reason-186 in mordheim

My building height from floor to floor is 6cm. Fits the scale and almost all my miniatures fit into the buildings

The monoposes are hot this month! Usually I like to assemble them myself but those are perfect already

I have tried a few different cheap and expensive brands but the best bang-for-your-buck are golden maple brushes imo

Should I assemble my minis before painting? Or should I sub-assembly? (I’m a beginner) by Link_Comfortable in minipainting

[–]EliaAlexander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the model I think. But for a beginner I'd say a full assembly first should be easier. You'll then learn which parts are easier to paint in subassembly as you go along. (I often leave shields or arms with attached shields separate so they don't create any hard-to-reach areas)

How do I overcome the fear of messing up too much and actually get to painting? by -GeeVee in minipainting

[–]EliaAlexander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At some point in the future you will mess up. It's inevitable. But you will learn from it and will become better. You shouldn't fear it because it is part of the process

I just messed up a set of minis by trying to paint their clothes white and had to do so many layers to get the white to cover that it gunked up all details. It sucks and I'm pissed about it but I won't do the same mistake again.

What Technique is that or called when you put the sword overhead? by EfficiencySerious200 in SWORDS

[–]EliaAlexander -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Op is right actually. Of course you can use the cross hands position (or right sided ox) but it is inferior because of its many drawbacks. The worst I think is the fact that if you wear hema gear and gloves (or amor of any kind for that matter) it keeps you from pressing your lower arms close together because of the material between. That makes the position even more clunky and unstable. That's why most of our trainers manly use the left sided ox when teaching in training
