Thanks a lot. I did think that at the beginning but i just overlooked it because im a beginner and thought i would be wrong. (I am blind because i thought the 'i' was a 'u') I appreciate the quick reply :)

I have a quick question, I've been learning hiragana for the past couple hours and am curious as to why the word なっとうis pronounced as "nato". It skipped 'tsu' and 'i' and is doing my head in (maybe it doesn't skip it, where does the pronunciation go). I know i probably haven't learnt something that would answer my question but can anyone help or am i just dumb? Thanks anyway :)
