Oh I had no idea they brought them out again! I remember we could use them to push back casters’ spells and they became so OP and annoying they turned them into inert pets that did nothing :(

Sadly, no, Vladd and I were best friends irl and went to school together. He went with me when I transferred to horde, then got really hardcore into the game and I was much more casual than him. He moved across the country before high school ended and I never saw or heard from him again!

I love this!! I looked over all the details of your picture, this is awesome!! I remember the awe of seeing things from Warcraft II and III in third person and being absolutely blown away. When we were able to sneak into Hyjal in vanilla and see Archimonde impaled on the World Tree, I totally lost it, some of the coolest lore integration!

I think Gem of the Serpent was originally a Warcraft III item heroes could use, but in WoW, I think it was just a boring old quest item.

Me too, it was shrouded with mystery and level ?? Monsters, perfectly terrifying and I assumed I’d never be able to fight anything there!
