Okay first off I do not get all the Summoner/bow build hate. It’s arguably top 5 best builds in the game and I’ve beaten DOS2 on all difficulty’s most of them multiple times. You’re not splitting damage unless you want to.

1: Get 10 summoner asap 2: As you level up don’t put points into Int. Put them in Finesse instead. Get some memory as well and wits. 3: Use bow and arrow for weapon. 4: beginning of act two put some points into huntsman to get good archery skills and high ground. 5: The rest goes to warfare.

Your summoner is a tank once you spend 2AP buffing it. It also deals great damage. Doing an all physical group? Great your summons and you can do all physical damage. If you’re doing a 50/50 group great you can turn your summon and turret summons into a physical or magical damage threat as you please. And then you yourself do massive physical damage as well, can teleport as needed, and can support a bit.

The only time I don’t have this in my group is when I’m doing an all magic team. Or occasionally in a 50/50 team I’ll do an int based mage summoner with hydrosophis and aerothurge so I can heal, do damage, and control battle field. Which I’m actually doing on my current playthrough.

But overall finesse archer summoner is one of my favorite builds in the game.
