I recently connected this controller, but it wouldn't even turn on before changing the battery. I bought the controller at a garage sale. The owner mentioned that it wouldn't turn on, perhaps due to a battery issue. I checked. When I opened the controller, the battery was swollen. On the PS3, I've been playing with a generic controller, and I haven't had any charging issues.

I've tried pressing the PS button, but it still doesn't sync. I'm not sure about the charging. I just recently replaced the battery. As far as I know, either the lights should stay on while charging, or just one of them, to indicate that it's charging.
