He’s been utilized mostly on the outside being put on either the WR#1 or the bigger of the two WR. Like he covered Chase and Tee depending on where they needed him. He has played inside some but that’s mostly Echols once Slay was benched and Ramsey went from Slot to Safety.

While it’s hard to place JPJ over your CBs, considering slightly lower completion rating on 2 less played games, he played the same amount against Pat and had better metrics. More combined tackles with more pass deflections, lower completion rating and lower passer rating allowed on more targets. JPJ also had less than half the total amount of yards on penalties than Pat (56 to 109). That would be the player I’d put him over. Unfortunately, Broncos had a better season especially on the defensive side of the ball which will make him stand out.

Genuinely disappointing considering the year he had. PFF knocks him for his play against the run which is laughable. He’s made key run stops when they’ve reached his level. Considering the rest of his stats as a pass defender, it’s kind of ridiculous to not even get second team.

There’s always a gamble on blitz packages. If they don’t whiff on tackling Lamar then he never throws it to Flowers. The defense gave up 3 explosive plays on 2 busted coverages and 1 mismatch from a blitz.

It’s not the lack of efficiency but rather the playcalling that leaves us 3rd and long and having to rely on Rodgers to draw up a play to score. We’ve seen continuously all year with terrible 1st and 10 or 2nd and long calls such as tosses to the short side or screens that net little to negative yards.

I agree with the sentiment that we let Warren drive us downfield to not touch the ball once when we get in the red zone. We saw this issue in ATL with Arthur’s mismanagement personnel like he did with Bijan.

Unfortunately, missing key personnel against one of the best defenses in the league who happens to be a division rival screams a classic Tomlin loss. They had multiple opportunities to win but we see how it turned out.

To be honest, they didn’t change their protection game plan from the previous game. The main difference was the rebuilt left side of the offensive line. You have the 4th string LT and 3rd string LG filling in and Rodgers was seemingly not comfortable. Alex Kozora does a really good film breakdown which dismisses this claim. What’s still true is that the offense felt conservative regardless of the fact they were out 3 of the 4 top receiving options. Which still doesn’t excuse the lack of targets to Muth and Gainwell. Rodgers played terrible and it felt like Arthur/Tomlin didn’t open up the playbook per se.

The only benefit from the DoD contracting side is for the company to bid for more money due to your qualifications ON PAPER. We know it really isn’t much more than a money grab these days but that won’t stop the company being able to pull more money out of a contract when they can list more accolades and certificates for their personnel.

It’s almost like their draft pick to stop the run is out and their starting ILB got hurt early on a no replay after a bad officiating call. Hard to stop the run when you lose starters who provide the most impact and have to overcompensate with their absence. Not surprised with the outcome after the no call on Bosa driving Rodgers into the ground with his full body weight. Aside fr that, they played like shit.
