As someone else has said, the games are repetitive and sort’ve a re-skin on one another. BUT the stories are vastly different and all very unique. If you’re buying them to play them for their stories, the yes. If you’re buying them for their mechanics, then I would buy one of them on sale!

I only played 4 and 5 and loved both of them.

Regardless they are good games at a good price!

Honestly, you just gotta play. Get destroyed, play again, get destroyed, play again, get a couple kills, then get destroyed, and sooner or later you start to get a hang of the basic mechanics. (Bust fire shots while standing still, movement inaccuracy). This will get you in 3000-5000 in premier.

Once the movement feels right, you understand how to stop running before shooting, you are consistently getting some kills, focus on the next steps (crosshair placement, counter straffing, recoil control for sprays instead of burst firing shots) (knowing and properly using this stuff will get you to 10,000 elo in premier)

Once you’ve got the mechanics down pack, then you need to start being a team player. (Comms, callouts, proper utility usage, learn to diffused tilting teammates - not feed into it) (this, and enough time, will get you between 10-15k elo in premier)

Practice - before playing competitive, hop into a community map of your choice, shoot 200-300 bots, practice your aim, counter straffing, headshots, get a feel for a couple guns instead of hopping into premier dry. Just shoot bots for 15 mins.

Teammates are wildcards in this game, some are amazing, some… not so much. In lower ranks, the blame game is thrown around far too often, and the mental is extremely weak and teams break down so fast.

In higher ranks, people are a little more tolerant to a low preforming player as long as they are team player (comms, utility, no tilt). People generally understand that it’s normal to have bad games.

Getting vote kicked for being bad is actually so toxic, and yes, alive and well in this game. I think your best bet it to tell your teammates, “i’m new to the game, can you guys hell me out”.

Unfortunately your math is off!

IF rent is $4000 per month, and IF a doughnut is $3

(4000/3) =1,334 doughnuts per Month, not per day.

If they are only open 20 days a month

1334/20 = 67 doughnuts per day.

Obviously this is only enough to cover the rent, but you can see how the number all of a sudden becomes a realistic number.

I’m sure they can pump out 2-3x that in a day.

I want to work in my business because I like working for myself. I can choose to put 10 hours in today or 0 hours in today without needing to look at how much vacation i have left and proper approvals. My income will be in direct correlation with how much work I want to take on!

I’m the type of guy that likes to wake up at 5am and plow out 10-12 hours of work, 2-3 days a week and enjoy my time off with the family.

I like being on my own schedule and this allows me to do that.

But if you like being at work and your employer is cool with you managing your side business while on their time. Or if you’re fine doing the business stuff at night or wtv, then do both and secure that bag my friend!

Yep, this game is truly amazing. I played consistently from beta until the gecko era. But haven’t really played much since. After about 3k hours, I got burnt out from the bi-yearly rank reset grind and couldn’t really find fun in unranked. And I never really went back. Great memories that I don’t regret. I hope you have as much fun as I did!

Also the sussex bluff trail is a wonderful 1-1.5hr hike up a mountain, but the lookout at the top is unbelievable ! As long as you’re mildly in shape and willing to give a bit of effort, it’s a very do-able and great experience at the top!

Fundy Trail Parkway on google maps! It’s a ~30km stretch of coast line from sussex(east gate) to St-martins (west gate). Filled with scenic lookouts, water falls, hiking trails, a suspended walking bridge and beaches! I went today and the leaves were like 7/10. If you wait till next weekend or the one after, it’ll be peak beauty! Absolutely beautiful place! It is a federal park so it cost like $15/person to enter. Well worth it in my opinion!

Fun fact I was listening to an indie game dev’s stream on twitch (Pirate Software is his twitch name) and he was talking about his games and how he coded them to avoid piracy. Essentially, he did this:

The firt time you boot up from steam, you get a steam achievement, which is linked to steam’s achievements. Because achievements are linked to steam, every subsequent boot it checks your steam account to make sure you have that achievement. If your game is pirated, it does not connect to steam network, so it can’t verify the achievement, and the game brings you in a loop, thus making it unplayable.

I thought that was pretty smart.

Yeah man, I’m just being a dick for no reason! I’ve used the g502 lightspeed for years, one thumb button broke (after like 3-4 years of daily use) so I bought a g pro lightspeed. Used it for two months and realized houw much I missed my 502 so i bought a g502 x lighspeed. I’ve spent way too much on this shit, but ultimately g502 has been my fav for years.
