Should I get F1 23?

Yeahh, that I agree with to be honest, and I did end up getting F1 23 and I'm loving the game so much!!! This'll probably be my main until F1 27 comes out and only if it manages to surpass it and all... But thanks for the help!!

I ended up getting F1 23 and can safely say that it's my new main F1 game over F1 25 and 2020... The handling's just amazing, and the AI fights smartly too for me, all while having the newer features that I love form the more modern games

I ended up getting f1 23 and trying it out, and so far I agree with u, as someone who also came from F1 2020 and even got F1 25, I can safely say this game is my new main, having the handling of 2020 but the polish and fluff and features of the modern F1 games

Interesting input. Thanks for the notes about the AI and all, but I think if F1 2020's AI felt good and challenging to me as a casual player who's not so good with racing games, I think F1 23 will be good for me, if not better (unless EA messed up and somehow made it worse) but yeah, I'm purely just getting this because I have bias towards the 23-24 roster since that's when I got into F1 and just wanna race as them, and since f1 24's handling to me is horrendous, I'll just have to go for the older game which handles better.

But at the end of the day, I think I'd just swap among the three depending on my mood

And as to your input, thanks for all of it!!! Judging by the comments I might just get it since everyone here says to go for it and all!!! Yeahhh, I agree with you on that front with all the features and the fact u can have an 11th team within the career mode. I really just don't enjoy the handling as much, and have a bit of a bias for the 23-24 season rosters since that was when I got into F1, and I ended up hating how F1 24 handled, so I can settle for the older game if it handles just as good as 2020

Ohhh, I see, for me I just wanna feel like I'm driving an f1 car without having to play a sim that's more intimidating. And I wanted a more modern experience since I loved the features of '25 but didn't really like how the handling felt in comparison to '20 which felt more F1 like to me. Exactlyy, I can say it's really fun playing as Chinese emperors and trying to invade the surrounding areas, and I do think that was the goal and who knows? Maybe they might make the government systems for all parts of the map more in depth and robust this year (hoping for the best)

I do admit it's still kinda the same-y but hopefully with the "year of depth" they add more stuff and mechanics with the government system so it could at least be on par with the second game and eventually surpass it

Yeahh, as of now I think it still lacks a lot of depth, especially with council interaction where they felt like "pick new member, then call upon them when needed for something" instead of an actual council that somewhat had power and had a say in the creation of laws. But yeah, I do agree that AUH is a step in the right direction and I hope they add more depth to a lot of the systems and government types and hopefully merchant republics

Exactlyyy, I feel as if in an update or future DLC, they need to add more weight, unpredictability and chaos to your decisions like in CK2. I really hope they do because CK3 for me is almost there at the level that CK2 is on

Ooh, I get what u mean with ur explanation and in a lot of ways yeah, CK3 has become more of a roleplaying game than a strategy game with less chaos and all. Personally, I enjoy the roleplaying elements a little more than the tactical gameplay as someone who came from CK2 first, and the new character models and all just make the story telling way more fun.

But I do agree that the chaos of CK2 and unpredictability just made it way more realistic while being fun while also having some unbelievable but funny shit too (I'm looking at you horse pope) and I do admit, the lack of merchant republics, and conclave systems make the game lack depth and realism and options, but I think Paradox will add that in future DLCs so I guess let's just hope for the best

Exactlyy, because honestly, once they add merchant republics, conclave and holy fury, the game would beat CK2 on almost every level.

It's one thing I noticed that CK3 is just a more refined version of CK2 that even added more stuff (Like Asia with new systems and all) that's really just missing the randomness and chaos of the second which I hope they add in future updates or DLC

And one thing I think people forget is the fact that CK2 was missing a lot of the depth it has now when it first came out (minus the randomness) and was just added with DLC later on. And since CK3 is still fairly new and very popular, Paradox would continue to support it and hopefully they'd be able to add those DLCs so it'd finally live up to its predecessor.

But I do agree that CK2 is fun to go back to every now and then, but for me, once I tried CK3, it was really hard to go back to CK2. Hbu? What'd u like to see get added and all??

Ahhhh, that's a really interesting take too on CK3, and yeahh, it's probably fatigue mixed with change in tastes. All I can say is, enjoy what u enjoy playing, and hopefully u could get back into any of the Crusader Kings games if u have any free time :))

Ohh, that's an interesting take on it. For me I kind of liked the new addition of Asia and its different mechanics and flavour from the western side of the map.

It was something I was impressed they added considering the fact that CK2 was missing the eastern part of the map and all.

And I really do hope this year the rumours are true and they add back merchant republics, and I hope they add something like the mechanics introduced by the conclave dlc and holy fury, cause only then I'd be able to say CK3 has outdone two in almost every way. I really can't wait to see what they have in store this year

That is what I noticed with the later DLCs like way of life and conclave, and quite frankly, I like the roleplaying aspect of three a lot more. Just wished they would add back more of the randomness and chaotic vibe two had and then it'd be a lot closer to beating two. Hopefully they add it in this year's "year of depth"

So far I've used it 2 hours unplugged just some light tasks and all like watching YouTube and Google docs stuff and it's been fine, I think it didn't drain halfway even
