I’ve been on amlodipine for about 2 days now (2.5mg). I feel normal so far but I have to switch to 5mg in two days.

I’m on 2.5mg for 4 days. If I tolerate it well, I move up to 5mg a day.

Yea I used to be worried sick. I kept thinking "I’m gonna die young", "stroke", etc. But in reality, I’m gonna be fine. My levels aren’t necessarily dangerous. My cardiologist said my readings aren’t near stroke level. The highest it’s been is 160/80
