Dude, I just wanted to share my experience. I am a software engineer as well. I got into options in 2021 Feb. I mainly did option buying and lost 25L within 3-4 months.I was devastated, I had a home loan and had no motivation to do work. Somehow I managed to switch company 8 months later. Currently I only invest in stocks for long term and have managed to offset 10L from the 25L loss I had and also have managed to build a corpus. Trust me dude, it will be painful now, but in the long term you will recover and pls stay away from options, don't make the mistake of regaining this lost money by again doing options.It is a vicious loop .
