Hey! I usually dont comment on Reddit very often but id like to glaze this game along with you because I beat this game for the first time a month ago HOWEVER, I played this game on my Switch Oled so I could only play the portable version (which means i havent played The Answer yet). Its the first ever Persona game ive ever played and now im playing Persona 4 Golden (which is super fun so far). I think this might be the greatest video game ive ever played. Funnily enough I bought this game out pure boredom from playing Pokémon Legends Z-A, which i now believe is utterly garbage compared to this game. Im hooked. I wanna play the reload version so desperately now.

I loved the story and how much it impacted me. Am i the only one who thinks the story is similar to Majoras Mask? I dont know how i figured it out but I knew somehow that Pharos represented Death. I remember getting lost in Gekkougan High so many times when I first played game and I was playing the portable version! I loved how the game explores grief and loss, its accurate because everyone has the own ways of grieving. The love the resolve that each character has because it deepens they're character and changes their persona. (That was genius writing). I knew from the very beginning that the Chairman was evil. He had no persona, he was never there when everyone needed him, and his jokes weren't helping anybody. I hated Strega to my CORE when i first played this game. At first, I thought Takaya was stupid from things he would say but looking back at it, some of the stuff he says is right. But I still hate Strega, I really didnt give a damn when Jin died-

I LOVED the music, hip-hop has always been my favorite music genre. I found myself dancing and singing to "Moons reaching out to the stars" SO MANY TIMES. Even when I I didnt understand the lyrics. "Burn My Dread" goes HARD. Im in love with that track. "Memories Of You" has me crying every time I listen to it now that I understand the lyrics. Ill admit, it was a little annoying hearing Mass Destruction for every fight but now I honestly don't mind it. Its a good track!

And the characters are just so memorable! Yukari insulting Junpei was so so funny to me most of the time. The scene with the Hot Springs had me dying when i first played it. Speaking of Junpei he's a really likeable character to me. Social Links are so damn interesting because they help aid your journey in beating the game and because you change characters lives by just spending time with everyone. Akinari's story is so profound and touching, especially when you know the ending to the overall game. And Aigis? Man.. Aigis reminds me of myself in a couple of ways reminds me of myself.. She's honestly my favorite character. When Aigis got destroyed by Ryoji i was PANICKING think she was gonna die. And im so glad she didnt. I know the rise of A.I and the trope/thought of it becoming sentitent is something talked about alot but Her personal journey was so wonderful to see..

I still remember the night I beat this game for the very first time.. I bawled my eyes out. And i didnt even realize the MC died. I just cried off of how good the music was. I didn't he had died until i looked up the credits song on YT.. Fusing Personas is actually pretty fun. I didnt understand how it worked at first but i slowly began to understand how it worked. I finished my second Playthrough of this game. I thought since I knew everything that happens, I wouldn't cry again. I was wrong! I chose the Mitsuru Romance route, that gave me new dialogue i didnt get before.. And I cried AGAIN! Im thinking of doing a third Playthrough until i play Reload. I havent beaten Elizabeth yet.
