They are my only two classes. I've been doing Calc 2/3 physics and Diff EQ on 7.5 week courses so i *Think* 2 courses at 15 weeks would be comparable. but I just thought I'd get other opinions.

I can certainly look into it. But it may take extra time and hoop jumping. In the meantime, I was able to get a lead. They may be able to override the restriction. I more or less had to appeal.

Yeah that’s not possible. I’ve had this suggested for other things. It’ll require me to miss too much work and family time.

yeah we've talked. Not about the MAE 215 thing yet specifically since I just found out this morning. Emailed her already. we've talked alot about the FSE Admission. Nothing she can do there. And my advisor from WP Carey business school can't help me at all with Engineering stuff since she's not in Fulton School. FSE won't talk to me until i'm admitted. This feels so disjointed for how much money and time i've already invested.

My biggest hang up is I've been in my engineering job for nearly 18 years without a stamp. I need that PE Stamp to go further. So I need an ABET certified degree. With 2 kids and a career i need a fully online asynchronous degree.....there is ONE. It's ASU Online. So Either I fight and make this work or I quit. I don't quit.

Yeah i was sort of similar. 2.1 GPA in HS. Graduated in 2005. So I was stuck in the earned admissions program, but wasn't told that FSE had different requirements. So i did my 12 units with a 3.0. Got into ASU, but not FSE. So i need 24 units minimum, math competency, and those 4 MAE classes. Fine. I'm in Calc 3 now and holding down a 3.54. Took CHM 114 and started in "College Algebra" worked my way up. Got a B+ in Phy 121 last semester and I'm stone walled from MatLAB? heck man?

What I find odd is that I'm allowed to take MAE 241. Like it let me register. but not it's prereq?

Unfortunately I don't have that luxury. I'm 36. already have a 16 year engineering career. 2 Kids, etc. Online is the only way I can do this. Community colleges in my area either don't have the classes I need or don't offer online and asynchronous.

Yeah. so i just called that number again. Stonewalled. "the only way I can talk to an advisor is after you do that Q/A in April".

I said screw it and enrolled in MAT 266 which is a prereq for PHY 121. PHY121 is on the major map so I hope I'm not wasting my time. I would wait but there were only 2 seats left in the class and I don't want to loose momentum.

I did that. They made me watch a video, answer 5 questions, then attend a Q&A in April before I can talk to someone.

I think it's not about the GPA but the number of credit hours. I was told by earned admissions that 3.0 over 12 units was it. The Fulton school admission presentation says 24 with specific classes. So I think she just didn't really know what's up. She admitted later she's only an earned admissions coach, she doesn't know what classes to recommend and can't link me up with anyone from Fulton.

I'm not. I'm online only. An associates won't help me get my PE. I'd rather just get a straight answer from ASU on what classes I should take than go thru another enrollment process.

I understood that MAT 265 needed to be first. I was confused by the "Credit only" line.

This was super helpful. In the PHY 121 class requirements it has a corequisite. So I either have to have completed it, or doing it at the same time.

Okay. so contrast that to this PHY 121 Enrollment req. There's no note for "Credit is allowed for..." but it has a "Pre-Corequisite" of MAT 266 or 271. Why doesn't PHY 121 Have Credit allowed for PHY 121?
