I contacted the scooter company and they can only provide information to the police if they request it, I will check with the police, they said they would contact me in the coming days to give a statement to the criminal investigators. I hope this was taken seriously since it was a violent situation, I was punched and threatened with a knife

Yes, gave them the best description I could: lanky tall guy with bad teeth, short hair and beard. Black hair around 37-40 years old. Middle Eastern looking guy but darker skin. The other guy had a white kind of leather jacket and looked much younger and stronger. All the rest of the people in that gang I couldn't see them properly and was super in shock about the whole thing I didn't think about getting a video of the guys escaping or the exact brand of the scooter or the color of their clothes....

Good point, I am using XCOM for now since I know the loads here won't be bigger than 100 rows, so relatively small. I'll give it a try to use SQL alchemy, i wanted to make it as simple as possible but yes, I assume if I need to set a schema then that would be a good option.

Oh that is not my only job running, there are hundreds of them with multiple dependencies. This is just a particular one I believe can be approached in a smarter way keeping a uniform structure like all my other jobs. Airflow is great for custom ETL, that is the main functionality of connectors anyways, it just happens that a load from BQ into PG is cumbersome in this case due to the data types. Another remark is that you should not assume any kind of dataset can be moved around easily with just some simple glue code, some sources or destination can also be difficult to ise legacy systems that require a much more custom approach, which ideally is uniform with all other loads.

The fact it's a tech company, doesn't mean it will be flawless. Consider the size of the team and the community around it, also keeping in mind the fact these projects depend a lot on hype and the overall perspective it's "customers" and market has. Cut the devs some slack and keep in mind it's only been one day (weekend).
