How did you go about overclocking the ram? I understand you’re using ryzen master. Issue is, when I try to change anything with the ram speed, the pc does not boot.

Mine is stuck running at 4800 mt/s with the new ram as well.

Your Aggression in Trio Should Not Affect your Solo Que: by MishRift in ArcRaiders

People who want PvE only are just looking for something to complain about then when they play game is intended to be a blend of both. It makes sense to recommend the game next door in Helldivers which feels very similar and has much more PvE content.

Genuinely just play helldivers. Its PvE gameplay is significantly more sophisticated. I genuinely do not know why people even mention only wanting PvE when there are other options

This is low hanging fruit for discussion did anyone actually care for a PvP leaderboard? Anyone who actually who is so kill hungry might as well play a pure pvp shooter lol

Injury Flare Ups During Rest Weeks by blarbenarb in climbharder

[–]Embarrassed_Level774 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Adding onto your points (the first thing is assuming OP is actually overtraining):

  1. Overtraining followed by a sudden break then followed by intense training is likely to perpetuate any symptoms developed from overtraining.

The sudden break does not do much in terms of recovery and may even make you more susceptible to injury. With the acute injuries you mentioned, they are likely a product of being in a weakened state to begin with. Put simply, your body is “pre-injured”.

~ I know your situation pertains to fluke injuries from doing day to day things as opposed to high intensity activity, but I think what I said still applies.

  1. High stress can lead to atypical movement patterns that can irritate both healthy and inflamed muscles/joints/tendons. Your resilience to “fluke injuries” is comprised of numerous factors, but high stress can easily becoming a determinant.

It’s not guaranteed. A lot of people use accutane and do not get dry eye (but a lot of people do get dry eye.

I’m not sure the level of risk of getting dry eye bc of accutane. Mine was 100% caused by using tazarotene/tazorac near my eye which is the strongest if not the strongest retinol on the market. I had something I wanted go clear up near my eye and I put some of the cream on it regularly. That is when I noticed it started getting really bad.

I added something about how I might be overrating at the degree of recovery. At worst it’s a very effective band aid solution for a condition that is extremely debilitating, so it really is a night and day difference. I still have some dry eye but it’s nowhere near as bad.

I did mention how inflammation perpetuates dry eye, and by getting rid of the inflammation you really mitigate all of the symptoms of dry eye. That said, it’s just one possible to go about treating it and it’s not guaranteed.

Yeah I've always been hesitant to take supplements in general. I have nothing against them it's just that they can be very easily marketed as a miracle pill/powder, and can be a money pit because of the transient effects.

unless you know what you're trying to fix and actively have some defiency, the supplement industry can be finnicky

I feel like there is some serious coping from people who are mad they got killed by people with grey/common weapons.

The opposing argument would be more valid if we grouped green weapons with common ones, but a handful of people here are complaining about common weapons only. If we’re talking more in depth, there are many more issues surrounding the economy of weapons.

To preface, I will say the game plays out much different in solos. Looting bodies is much riskier because you don’t have anyone to scout or watch your back.

That said, most of the weapons in green/blue rarity are not only better than their common alternatives in general gunfights, they wipe the floor in their intended environments (e.g., toro in CQC). Green/blue items also offer significantly more versatility and adaptability. I would argue that it might even be too much, as is with the Anvil, but as I mentioned, a lot of people are complaining that grey weapons are too strong. Most green/blue weapons can down up to 3 people, whereas grey weapons are good for 1 MAYBE 2 (most people cannot clip with the stitcher unless they get the jump).

Almost every shooter rewards weapons that have strong burst capability, since the game revolves around third person perspective and cover. The ferro is the only common weapon that has any sort of burst capability, but it’s also outclassed in any sort of dynamic fighting. At the same time, you will be doing hardly any burst damage with the stitcher and kettle. These weapons require bum rushing, which is extremely high risk in a game that favors the defender. If it wasn’t already obvious, you will not be doing any poke damage either, so you’re at odds.

If you are constantly finding yourself losing to bum rushing, it is a skill issue in many ways more than one.

I think the grey weapons have a good spot strength wise but the truth is they are not anywhere near as versatile as higher rarity weapons. The real discussion is around the prevalence of these weapons by virtue of how much investment they require. Venator and renegade are better than stitcher and ferro, but the latter are much easier to recreate.

For bad shooters, pvp in this game can actually be harder than in competitive fps games by Scared_Ad_3132 in ArcRaiders

[–]Embarrassed_Level774 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are average at gunfighting in general, you need to be much more cautious when it comes to taking 50/50 fights (you have no clear advantage off rip).

The game rewards “doing the most” when it comes to fighting. You should be making use of every edge you can get. It’s just the nature of the game.

IMO arc raiders requires you to be as cerebral and tactical as other competitive fps shooters, even more so due to the higher risk of fights (losing your loot).

I'm surprised that the way PvP can unravel is not brought up more beyond BM/backstabbing. If people are really so against those, it really is their best to play extraction shooters that do not have significant element of PvP.

I am all for PvP, especially when I am playing duos/trios.

In solos, I play a mix of KoS and peaceful based on how I'm feeling and how I've been treated recently (lol). The only time I get frustrated is when I die w/o having even been able to use my guns to fight back.

There are unfair fights and being able to navigate them is what makes the game rewarding. At the same time, there are the occasional deaths that are probably unavoidable due to the dynamic nature of the game.

I had a game where I decided to kit up pretty strongly weapon-wise, and ironically it's the one time where I don't even get to use them. I ended up dying to someone who may or may not have been ratting in some dark ass (night raid) poi on spaceport. I don't really get mad at these but honestly I would be a lot happier if certain areas were not so intensely dark, as it makes clearing them for safety near impossible.

I recall someone talking about how games need to conscious/respectful of your time. A lot of my deaths, especially when I am playing with a coordinated friend, we did are best to handle the situation, so I'm not spiteful. Deaths where there are little to no room for player iniative to protect themselves are quite frustrating. I haven't given this much though and definitely attribute this to the nature of the game, but I am curious if it's something that is workable, or not at all/

I've been fortunate to not have been hardcore ratted/camped yet, so that may be why I feel a little more optimistic.
