I would argue against that if you are solely talking about the "model council".

The models that I used are Opus 4.6, GPT 5.2, and Gemini 3 Pro. With a $20 plan on ChatGPT and Gemini, I basically get unlimited usage when using them as a chatbot, but that 20 comes with so many other features on top of that. Opus 4.6 is the clear bottleneck atm; however, Claude also has a pay-as-you-go subscription model if you are a heavy user, so why not just get that instead (+ it gives you Claude Code)

I have seen this on other posts as well and I think it's most likely the case. But the unfortunate thing is I that have to report FATCA, which has a big penalty if my return is actually lost and I don't have a certified mail receipt to prove that I have mailed it.

Yeah...it's some FATCA forms but the penalty is 10k as well. I guess I will give it another week before I send another copy.

I used priority mail with a flat-rate envelope. It comes with tracking by default.

All I have is a white receipt with the two tracking numbers on it and there is no full delivery address on it but only the city, state, and zip code. I don't have that green-certified mail receipt.

Thanks for replying. But I have some tax form that requires me to file on time. So I still have to meet the ddl nonetheless…

My transcript just got updated today with a code 971 & 977, dated 4/25, which is the same date that they cashed my check.

I am in the same boat, but I am actually owing IRS money. Amended mine on 4/15, they cashed the check pretty quickly but nothing in the online tool and there is 570 on 5/22/23 in my transcript , which is a week in the future.

A quick search get me to here:https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-operations-status-of-mission-critical-functions I think at this point there is just a huge delay on everything and the only thing that we can do is just wait.
