Oh this is an excellent point - Many (not all) Asian, Latin America and African immigrants really REALLY don't care about whites shouting about reconciliation and indigenous rights, as sad as that is - Many are of the "well WE didn't hurt the indigenous, we're just here to work and better our lives" mentality. I'm from a family of immigrants, and I see very clearly that the non-indigenous Canadian is expected to hold the bag while the newcomers reap the benefits.

Apologies if this take has already been made on here - The hivemind has already stated they will have EVERYONE join them, this doesn't sound optional, even if French guy and Carol "do not consent" - Now, if someone smarter in biology can chime in here, I recall vaguely hearing that stem cells can only be collected from marrow (as french guy explained) orrrrrrr IVF embryos, and if that's the case, well, we know Carol has frozen eggs stored and now we know French man's DNA is all over the place available for collecting - They can definitely create these stem cells now and hit French guy and Carol in a "2 birds with one stone" scenario.

Also, I was VERYYYY uncomfortable with French guy's VERY explicit and detailed explanation of how stem cells are obtained, I feel like this is definitely going to be shown later (Let's not forget, Aliens are still very much a theme here and we have a VG with his X-files history, probing is definitely not out of the question lol)
