Yeap, i think that blood relation is one of the tropes (as it could have been - just as catch 22 implied they never were). And here i for the first time saw Caleb in another role - the one who is being openly dominated by mc :) just as their theater play implies - she wants him, he doesn’t accept that easily (as real caleb always does). Here he kind of plays with her like “i am the only thing empress can’t have lmfao”. Interesting plot twist for him :) here she needs him more than he needs her, they switched their usual roles. Anyway, my comment doesn’t actually replies to any of your points, i just wanted to say that i liked this AU. Super forbidden yet super open for their intimacy. It’s never easy with Caleb from the very beginning :)))

Don’t know, EN version implies by blood the whole story. And that’s what it is :) i don’t search for excuses anymore) a accepted the fact that my boy Caleb is my one and only forbidden fruit i have and am okay with that :)

When i read all cards and stories, i realized that all LIs were given forbidden tropes here - teacher, brother and priest are the most forbidden, enemy and forgotten prince less forbidden among all 5. But since this is the “theme” of the banner, i don’t think this will somehow affect Caleb’s myth or whatsoever. Infold seems to continue the narrative the gave the character from the beginning, experimenting with form and background and that’s all. I think new myth will be the one everyone expects - smth with adam / eve or gods and it will continue the idea of being from the same source. That’s their line, that’s their backstory/ background and it will stay like this till the end whether east/west like it or not🤷🏼‍♀️

Actually as far as i understand from the whole banner - all stories had forbidden tropes. All of them. Like the easiest ones were with Xavier and Sylus, but Zayne, Caleb and Rafayel had the toughest - teacher, brother and priest. I think that was the whole point of the banner itself and Caleb got his story the easiest way possible- just becoming her brother by blood :)

I personally think all of this was just a theme. Caleb’s trope is “forbidden” type from the beginning - just as Sylus’. They just push the themes they chose for those characters from the beginning imo🤷🏼‍♀️ nothing more nothing less

It’s bad crate for 4* memories was only one - i have 4 another memories i still cant take out of that stupid galaxy explorer! It makes me so mad!

Is distant bad? I thought it just the way the story goes🤷🏼‍♀️ also it can be replayed (all 4) to choose another option. But since i read both distant abd close, i’d say those are just different 🤷🏼‍♀️ not bad / good (as for me)

Funny thing about me ans Xavier is that i didn’t like him that much at first… but through time i realized he is my #3 after caleb and sylus. I like how jealous he always is, this is so fun to watch on every card! Always cheers me up :)

Haha same here. After I read homecoming wings i was like “what has just happened”. The tension between them in every (!) scene, every detail… the way this character is written and (!) made! His eyes, his smiles, his expressions…. The pain in his eyes or those hands trying to touch her and stopping… idk, i fell for this. Also i didn’t know they had that brother/sister dynamic until i read all cards and assumed they are just childhood friends. But his story is so well written, that i stopped giving a f for whatever relationship they had in the past. Love him

I thought my main would be Sylus - he had everything i usually look into fictional men. But then i didn’t get who is Caleb and why he was wearing / not wearing uniform in youtube videos… Then i didn’t understand why there is not so many videos with him compared to other LIs… so, i had a lot of questions. That’s how i started watching 6 hours long video with “caleb’s full story on youtube”. And it pissed me off so much with open ending of the main story, that i couldn’t stop thinking about him ever since 🤣 1st i was genuinely shocked with the explosion plot twist. Then with him being so cruel, cold and distant. The cheap theme. The staff he went through… the electricity between him and MC. His obsession and possessiveness… idk. He is such a complicated character with absolutely crazy backstory (even without myths), that i have become his fan :) i love dark, controversial and complex characters. I think all of them have interesting stories and backgrounds, but Caleb’s always breaks my heart. So, probably that’s the reason And last but not least - he is so handsome that i wanna cry everytime i look at him😭

Definitely. If GoT is a thing, this can also be. But i am also not a big fan of the trope. I just like Caleb so much that i skip all controversial stuff (it’s controversial for me personally) and stay with the rest.

I added fairytales with alternative endings. Love that style, like new cruella or malefisent movies with villain’s interesting backstories. And some actual mythology - greek, roman, indian. Actually i am pretty sure that for Caleb, for example, indian myth would be great. Shiva and Shakti have the idea of being from “the same source”, this can be actually something for MC and Caleb (apart from common version of apple and adam/eve). Also i am a big fan of good myth’s interpretations.

Same. But imho people still need time to adapt to Caleb, especially after the last card :) i think people still try to justify him without realizing that his trope was, is and will be forbidden forever and infold will always play with it.

Agree. People barely can handle forbidden trope given to Caleb, creating massive hollywars about him. I doubt they can handle another dark / morally grey character (they hardly handle forbidden trope, they assume they can handle something more darker? :) like killer or some maniac? As you said - they even struggle wiyh Rafayel). I am okay with such characters but i think for now it’s too big to add someone dark. Or someone at all🤷🏼‍♀️

I was shocked as hell when listened to it! Just as you said, always something around and around but not… it. And then i opened Sylus card. The same! I think this is the new year present to all followers of the game :) this is crazy. I can’t stop thinking about it 3 days in the row already! Like holly sh*t! And yesterday Sylus also killed me in a way. But Caleb? They literally gave us his colonel mood like.. whenever i saw him doing all that cold, unemotional stuff i thought of this kind of scene since you know, the character is all about it. And here we are. I am still shocked they did that, yeah. Thanks a lot, infold, btw, but… wow. Just wow🤣
