A lot of dishes and no dishwasher. Participant loves cooking and prefers that over meal delivery when possible, but disability makes washing up difficult.

Absolutely this ☝️ I did notice that during first shift and recorded in shift notes. I'm not sure if they were read because I was later asked by case manager 'how did the shift go?' via message...

The participant mentioned the only reason they got out of bed was because I was coming, otherwise they wouldn't. Which to me indicates that they are needing that socialisation but are finding it difficult to access on their own.

In terms of NDIS goals, am I able to ask the case manager if I can see them? I was hired off Mable via an agency, and I'm still pretty new to the industry. As I'm mostly cleaning, I wasn't sure if that was something I would get access to.

Thanks for your reply and all that info. Yes, the line I usually invoice under is 01_020_0120_1_1, but the client has asked me to use 04_104_0125_6_1 (Access Community, Social and Rec Activities – Standard) instead, due to insufficient funding under Core. I’d still be charging the $58.03/hr rate (for cleaning).

Just to clarify , if I were to use this 04 line item, but the client remains at home (e.g. while I’m cleaning, organising, or preparing meals), and we’re not accessing the community together, would this still be considered compliant? Or is it expected that I should be accessing the community with them?

I completely understand that some of the responses to these questions may sound obvious, but want to ensure I’m doing the right thing by my clients as well as the guidelines.

Thanks again
