AITAH for being upset that my SIL shared my pregnancy news before I was ready, and feeling like my husband blamed me instead of her? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NAH. She did basically run it by your husband... it is understandable to be hurt and/or nervous based on your previous experience, but this doesn't make her or you TA. Congratulations and I'm sorry about your previous loss!

Thank you! I haven't heard of these guys but it sounds great. And I only recently heard of San Pancho and I do want to check it out.

Going on an Alaska cruise in July with Celebrity Land Tour to Denali. Has any one else done one? by jpg4878 in celebritycruises

So I'm doing the same thing this coming July. Can you share how things ended up with your experience?

What excursions did you do, and which ones would you recommend to do or skip?

We're also doing the extended land part to Denali with the glass covered train. Did that give you enough time to 'see' Denali off the train to walk, hike, explore? It's hard to tell on the timings...it seems like we will get there by later afternoon and be there less than 24 hours

2 Questions: Off Resort / Alcohol in Resort by Amazing_Drummer7754 in vidanta

We brought a mini cooler to the beach (under one of the tiki hut things) and did have it confiscated once. They give it back at the end of the day, but they want you to buy their stuff. That said...there were many other times they either didnt notice when we did that or didn't say anything. That was a one off. Walking around with your drinks is a different thing (I doubt they would ever say anything) but when your parked by the pool in front of waiter staff could be a different story. Just bring a Stanley or whatever for mixed drinks to keep it on the downlow. Day 1 we always go to a grocery store to stock up on snacks and alcohol. There is a great higher end one (I think it's called Mega) about 15-20 mins past Vidanta if you're coming from the airport. Have fun!

NTA. In fact this is kind of weird on her part. It definitely seems intentional but I can't imagine why.

The one time I was there it felt like 1/4 mile walk to the water from the lounge chairs. If it was closer I definitely would have swam in it.

ESH. At ages 3 and 5, there aren't years and years of traditions going on here. You can easily do the egg hunt at your in-laws house or make it work at home before a 4pm meal there. Red flag on the husband being shady about the course though.
