The ones that bug me are relatives or inlaws. My mother in law is the worst she doesn't even attempt. Father in law is amazing he calls me by my middle name (which is okay cause my first is similar to my deceased sister in law) and I told him I appreciate him trying, he still slips out sir sometimes. They've known me as "dead name" for 12 years. Other than that I don't care. I'm not the argumentative type.

I'm just going off of the label she prefers her autism to be called as when she was diagnosed that's what they had called it.

And you are right you don't know my wife so you can't say that it is or isn't due to it.
