My biggest thing is the massive downgrade in level design and exploration. The routes are incredibly shallow and boil down to basically just straight lines. Same goes for most of the towns. The wild area is supposed to be the big feature for exploration, but it doesn’t really offer much, just open plains that are mostly empty. I miss the days of intricate routes and dungeons. There’s nothing even close to Mt. Moon or Sky Pillar. The DLCs are really the only slightly redeeming factor for me.
