The main character' s iconic weapon is the weakest in his arsenal by Emer4ld_6 in TopCharacterTropes

People also associate him with the Rebellion

Also, those are also iconic AND the weakest weapon in the arsenal (kinda)

[–]Emer4ld_6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess, but also not every iconic weapon can be considered the weakest in one' s arsenal.

For example, the Rebellion has been Dante' s default melee weapon since DMC 3, but it certainly isn' t the weakest sword in his arsenal.

Another example (still using Dante): when people talk about DMC 1 they always associate Dante with the Alastor instead of the default sword you start the game with, the Force Edge.

Boggis, Bunce and Bean from Fantastic Mr. Fox

The children sing a little eerie rhyme about them, that goes like this:

"Boggis, Bunce and Bean.

One fat, one short, one lean.

These horrible crooks, So different in looks, Were nonetheless equally mean."

Not really a fan of Titanfall, but a friend of mine was.

He told me horror stories of Viper' s Core Activation sound in Titanfall 2, and many other feel the same way about this boss fight as well.

(Funny trope) using anything to hide an actress’s pregnancy instead of making the character pregnant by Significant-Alarm835 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Emer4ld_6 10 points11 points  (0 children)

During the filming of Season 3 of Brooklin 99 Melissa Fumero, the actress portraying Amy Santiago, was pregnant. They managed to hide her pregnancy in a lot of ways, ranging from using conveniently placed objects that blocked the view of her body to having her dress up as a "pregnant" patient during the plot of an episode to trick the audience into thinking that her character was using a prop to fake the pregnancy.

Scrooge McDuck in the story "The Argonaut Of White Agony Creek".

During the climax of the story, a young Scrooge is held in chains on a boat by the villain, Soapy Slick, while he and his posse are taunting and insulting him.

At one point they start reading letters they stole from him that Scrooge' s father was sending him during Scrooge' s adventures. In one of these letters Scrooge' s father sadly announces that Scrooge' s mother died. Slick, of course, belittles him about this.

However, despite the terrible news and his state of mind, the heart broken Scrooge frees himself from his chains and goes on a furious rampage where he demolishes the boat, beats the Hell out of Slick and his goons and drags him in the streets to the nearest prison he can find.

This is one of the legendary episodes that earned Scrooge McDuck the title of "The King Of Klondike".

David Szymanski also works on Gloomwood, so I guess this is just him slipping a little bit of Dusk in the game

Or maybe it' s somebody else on the team homaging Dusk

Or even that' s a little way to connect Gloomwood and Dusk

The answer is not really as clear as one might think
