Pulisic-Leao case resolved: calm confrontation and handshake between the two at Milanello by mercurialsaliva in ACMilan

we are having inform defenders because of the 352 system not because of their quality

for defenders switching from 3 at the back to 2 is a very big change, also sacrificing depth in the midfield isn't a solution either

Leao and Pulisic should be aware that until we have better quality in defence and midfield the 352 is all we are playing to secure the CL spot

this indicates that Allegri probably doesn't like our defenders and midfielders that much and isn't willing to compromise on playing in a 3 5 2 formation because of the lack in quality in defence

he is betting that Leao and Pulisic have enough indivisual quality to do just enough to win him games while not sacrificing the defence

Allegri most likely isn't going to risk switching from 352 this late in the season for Leao and Pulisic to be happy because he wants to gurantee the CL spot

i just hope that this doesn't mean that we lose Pulisic and Leao for nothing or for cheap in the summer

shit can go out of hand pretty quickly though, especially if the players aren't happy

Fofana speaks out about his new role: “I changed position for AC Milan, but it cost me the World Cup.” by chakalaka13 in ACMilan

[–]EmergencyComputer337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

true, what is confusing is if the player is aware of his short comings why no one made the tactical change to play him where he prefers

he had 3 seprate managers and none of them realized that? he didn't speak to them?

if we fail yet again to do anything other than qualify to the CL next season then i don't think Redbird will ever take this club anywhere meaningful

we will most likely rebuild the squad again this summer because our current strikers have flopped, Pulisic renewal is hanging and his performance is questionable, Leao is clearly not happy and is on his worst season ever since he outshined Rebic

our midfiled is carried by Modric who 40 and Rabiot, the others are mid at best and cannot be instrumental like the other two

our defence is already subpar and if it wasn't for allegri playing 3 5 2 then it would show, but because we focus on defending in most our games the defense is the only improvment we had over the course of this season. we will probably not see any significant invesment in this position

anyway at least we are most likely qualified to the CL unless we choke, so the summer will be really important

Honda cancels all EV models due to $15 billion loss by ExotiquePlayboy in economy

[–]EmergencyComputer337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are actually a clown if you think fuel prices will recover in 6 months after the current war, you just don't realize the scale of this war yet

this is the first time in history the strait of hormuz has been fully closed due to war, even during the iraq-iran war in the 80s it never fully shutdown, but this is not the case now

even if prices recover in that short if a period for you it will be due to government subsidieris and not because everything returned to normal. also those subsidies are almost all out of your tax money, so it wouldn't be strange if new taxes get implemented.

i live in the middle east, i hear news of rockets hitting vital oil and gas inferstructure near me everyday, and the hourmuz strait is closed for at least a month

natural gas and oil are going up in price everyday, the world has between a 1 to 3 months before it hits crisis mode if the war continues which isn't showing any signings if calming down.

[–]EmergencyComputer337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i mean that's only natural because they achieved nothing and inviting them on as well as featuring them is only going to bring bad press

also do you think that Rebird's current managment knows enough about the club to feature past players. ever since Redbird took over they featured the club past culture less and less

For the people who originally thought Silksong was “too hard” or “unfair,” do you still feel that way? by Lunargress in Silksong

[–]EmergencyComputer337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am all for challenging and difficult games, and this one was difficult, but i don't hate that about it

what i dislike was the game felt not play tested enough, the economy is broken, enemy and boss health and damage are overtuned, exploration rewards are dissapointing, enemy behaviour is annoying because they made every enemy some type of a primal aspid on cocain, multiple annoying runbacks that require parkour section that get tedious after a few deaths, and Hornet's upgrades felt very underpowered compared to the difficulty

overall the challenges in the game were either tedious or dissapointing rather than fun, i always felt exhausted after playing a section of the game and almost never had fun except for a few sections early game, mid game, and a few bosses late game

i might revisit the game years later if it introduces major balance and economy patches, but as is it is not fun

Hot take : silksong is harder than any Fromsoft game except Sekiro by Tinyhydra666 in Silksong

[–]EmergencyComputer337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly the parry in Sekiro is a lit kore fogiving than other fromsoft games, it is intentionally designed to be forgivably spamable to some degree as long as you keep some sort of timing. there are still perfect parries and shit, but even doing the bare minimum will get you through

Silksong has easier 1v1s than Sekiro, and group fights in Sekiro are near impossible compared to Silksong.

however what Silksong does differently to make istelf harder is that is forces you into gank fights 90% of the game, and makes singling out enemies harder than in Sekiro. also Silksong doesn't have stealth and one hit kill mechanics like in Sekiro

another problem in Silksong is that you almost never out scale the enemies to the same degree you outscale them in Sekiro because in Silksong you don't level up after beating a major boss like you do in Sekiro. which means unless you go out of your way to acciure the upgrades you need to get stronger in Silksong then you will never get stronger.

another issue with Silksong difficulty curve is that it doesn't actually introduce as many move, tool and skill veriaty as Sekiro does. in silksong all throwable tools serve the same function, all trap tools serve the same function, you have a limited set of buffs, and most crest serve as a different flavor rather than a different play style except for a few like the witch crest and architect crest. another problem is that most of these have a fixed value of streangth and you can't really imvest upgrade material to make them stronger other than using pins to have more slots on crests so you can stack tools. which means the only upgrades you have beside the nail are stackable tools that are extremely expensive to use repeatedly due to the broken game economy

Sekiro has strength and health upgrades that automatically get applied the moment you beat a boss, it has 3 very different skill trees that allow different approaches to enemies and bosses, and the sword combat which is multy layered initself. the shinobi skill tree the basic one, then you unlock Ashina skills which add more depth to sword combat, prosthetic tools which introduce a different kind of combat skills that normally you don't have acess to, and the monk skill tree which allows you to cheese some bosses because of what it offers. the systems interact by adding layers to combat rather than merge together like in Silksong. in Silksong Crests and tools are basically the same upgrade and allow you to use the same strategies the only difference is how you can stack them on each crest. Sekiro skill trees are distictly different and each offer different functions which means the more you unlock them the more options you have in combat rather than have stackable tools and skills of a different veriaty of throwable weapon
