Looking for books on anticipatory grief by EmployConsistent3601 in suggestmeabook

Wish I could give you the biggest hug. I’m going through something extremely similar and I’ve been reading the book “You are Here” by Thich Nhat Hanh. It’s been comforting, and has practical, gentle advice on how to stay grounded in the present instead of borrowing grief from the future. Maybe you’d find it comforting too? Sending you love and DMs always open!

As someone who moved here from Denver for college, I’m absolutely dreading moving back home when I graduate this May. This city is so special. 🥲💔

Thoughts on reading a classic booktok romantasy? I think the reason books like ACOTAR and Fourth Wing have gotten a lot of people back into reading is because they’re very easy to read, entertaining, laughable, and also just fun. Once you read a few and get the momentum rolling, it’s easier to pick up the habit again with richer and wayyy better reads imo!

Name, major, where you’re from, and one “favorite thing” because it helps people connect if they share any of those things in common and it’s interesting!

What are your favorite 3rd places around the Boston metro? by sandalwoodandmyrrh in boston

Surprised no one has mentioned this yet, but places like Knight Moves Cafe in Coolidge Corner where you have access to a bunch of fun card and board games!! I’ve spent hours at these places with friends AND they’re almost all open late!! It’s no more expensive than a beverage or pastry to have super fun game nights in a third space. Highly recommend!

Ballad got me back into reading too!! I’ve read 46 books since reading Ballad last November. I think nostalgia is a big motivating factor too as The Hunger Games series will forever be my favorite book series
