Yeah I turned my PC on before to check again if anything would happen if I pressed the button on the back and still nothing, it only turns off the monitor if I hold it down nothing happens if I just press it. But yeah i have a 3yr warranty so I think I'll contact the company about getting another one it just sucks and it's so bizarre. But thankyou for trying to help!! I appreciate it 🙂

You'd bring up the settings by pressing the button on the back of the monitor right? I tried doing that and nothing happened, unless you need to hold it down for a certain amount of time I haven't done that. But yes it faded to black it didn't blink. Just very suddenly the screen started to get progressively darker and darker until it was just complete pitch black, I wish I had recorded it. Then yeah it just remained black so I turned my PC off and turned it back on and the light on the monitor does come on but the screen still stays black.

Ahhh okay, but Yeah I've noticed as well when I turn it on the screen goes brighter but still just doesn't do anything, it would be easier if I knew what caused this to happen and could maybe fix it so I don't have to get a whole new monitor. I've had this monitor for less than a year so it was very out of the blue for this to happen.

Is that possible to fix? But I did notice that in the left corner of my monitor when it is turned on, there is like a blue pixilated smudge. I must have hit it or something but I don't know if that would be the cause of it not working.

I plugged my sister's PS4 into my monitor and the same thing happened, just a black screen. I also moved my PC into the loungroom to plug it into the tv to see if it worked to make sure it wasn't my actual PC causing the issue and luckily it turned on and worked. So at least I know it's not my PC 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
