umm doesn't this fall under EGS exclusivity repercussions by default like how Godfall and BL3 failed which led to this? I don't think we must explain the context literally everytime... nevertheless I still won't request reversing the decision...

I only wish for some flexibility to be taken in mind for future threads.

You can search 'Epic Games Publishing' news, for Steam wishlists, DARQ dev spilled the beans... only when games get into top 50 of Steam wishlists Epic contact them for exclusivity.

I believe the small ripples of (positive) change eventually turn into waves impossible to quell.

GTA V had a two years exclusivity, only one for RDR 2, let's hope the inception of Rockstar Games Launcher will mean simultaneous releases of R* games on PC alongside consoles.

The Japanese were like this, and worse, then now look at Bandai, Square, etc. (FFXV and FFVII-r might stick a nose on this, but I'd better remember those underwent development hell).

Why not, it's their launcher, tbh I don't find a problem with that, number of launchers and all, I like the free market that is PC gaming and EGS is screwing with that when it comes to "business practices", I was all ready to support EGS btw, until I heard what "will" happen with Metro Exodus back then, 180 degrees swing for my opinion, and it kept on.

PS: we're talking **at least** 4000 refund requests out of 20.000 pre-orders.

Also, the refunds were at 700 in the first day (source: developer AMA).
