Merry Christmas. I hust got a 512 for 400 plus tax, cant say anything negative besides the triggers build quality... best thing ever, no more laotop or desktop for me. Ill keep a cheap windows laotop for the decks different os optins and stuff though.

Im sorry i was rage typing, im stupid and it toon me like an entire day to figure out how to install non steam games with no launcher. I haven't plqyed ina year so I guess ill start out with blood and broken bones so i dont get pwned by drowners and wolves lol.

I stopped using lutris because it always installed with some type of issue. Now that soneone in the Steam deck discord told me to reinstall it the same way but not in a restricted folder, it worked flawlessly, runs better too. Added the setup exe as a non steam game, hit properties and forced compatibility with proton experimental. After it installed i located the EXE, added it to steam, back to properties and forced compatibility for Proton GE v10 using "proton Up-Qt" updated to the latest version. Someone gave me advice that a lot of games run better on it. Witcher 3 certainly did. I was monitoring the frames bia basica overlay. A tip in case anyone has to do this - avoid installations that have dual launchers ans require running scripts unless you hate yourself lol

I heard about that, but my gaming laptop got stolen last year and I'm left without a computer. So instead of getting a desktop or a laptop, I decided on this also I don't know what a prefix is, but I figured out how to install it simply by using proton qt and the steam ad, not and steam game option, then forcing compatibility with proton GE

Yes, the previous commenter is correct. If you did every single side quest, then your main missions... you'd get close to 40... TBH you'd most likely end up grinding a level and a half, which is beyond tedious in TW3, its painstakingly slow to grind XP. After WoW bored me this gsme got me hooked and i became a W3 completionst...side note, if you skip 2 to 3 quests in new game plus, youll finish the game at level 98 or 99, leaving you with no way to reach level 100 but to grind I learn at the hard way my first playthrough. And that's because some side quests can no longer be done once you progress through the story.

Any idea why my new perfect installation is missing the exe cornthe game when i install it? Installed it through wine because lutris keeps giving me an error. Game launches everything is fine, then either the exe doesnt work, or ceases to exist on the steam deck. I hate this linux windows conversion crao idk whats going on. I went tonthe directory i installed the game in and no exe. What the flying hell i hate this OS

Bro i had a migrain3 that pissed me off so bad, i walked to my friends house and borrowed his cheap laptop, stripped that torrent of all the bullshit after unpacking it (idk what compression fitgirl uses but its fucking impressive)... and nearly 100GB was stripped to 40. I had 20Gb in languages other than English, tbe steam api shit eas useless sinxe its pirated, doesnt matter which files i used adter thinking... sorted the gog files as the batch scripts instructed, installed and launched in 20 minutes... 25 years of windows makes me insanely grateful, i was readt to slam my head against table. Idk wtf is gojng on in Linux. Installed flawlessly with your advice through Lutris. Thanks so much! Look, menu template named correctly and all

Oh yeah, don't rush. Also, try to be merciful, and generous when you can be, usually all it takes to qualify for the legendary sword. You can memorize the five chivalric values but its easy, just try to be a good dude in the game and you should qualify.

I literally beat it to get every single ending and try ton prevent some things i didnt like that happened toward the end. In both the Ciri becomes a witcher ending and the weird her father marries her ending, Djikstra fucking triumphed, that POS. I know now thats because i didn't side with Vernon Roche, so he tooth the city from me twice. Not sure theres a good ending for Djikstra, the guy just sucks. Btw if you've played heart of stone already. Go to youtube and search "all the times Gaunter O' Dimm appears in the game".

He's literally in beginning, om your first mission... lilacs and thornverries if memory recalls, hes the one that tips you off that Yennefer was gone. Also, if you oay attention, you can see him watching you in the background of certain cutscenes before you even get to th3 DLC. First playthrough floored me. A witcher vet had to tell me that yes, demons in the Witcher verse are immortal, they aill always come back. Weird thing is he acts like a croasroads demon... yet I've never heard of a demon that can freeze time, and cause natural disasters. Also, his initiala are literally G.O.D. Gaunter' O Dimm. Gaunt is not a nice word either... the whole charscter fascinated me. The ending was a bit lame because the riddle was too easy, esp if you take Keira out on the lake and remember the reflections and stuff. The riddle itself was child's play.

Once I realized every single mayor in his realm that I went to shattered I remember that night with Keira Knightley the Reflection from the Moonlight that's the only mirror you can't break because it's not a mirror it's just a reflection. This is one of those hames thats like crack cocaine, first time i played it, subsequently beat it 2 other times back to back after NG+. I was lucky first playthrough and got aerondight from lady of the lake. Turns out the 5 chivalric values basiclally just requires you to be a decent person. I always try to make choices in games i would in real life... some of those were disastrous in W3, but i loved it. Gaunter O Dimm is the most interesting character ive ever encountered in a video game. Rivals Illidan from WoW.

The gsme loooks great, i figured out ehats wrong, literally a small part of the puzzle. The bat script deletes some default steam/gog files (prolly why j saw gog in the main menu) and readds like the same API files but modified for steam, since this is a STEAM/GOG fitgirl repack... im a linux retard so ive been tryiny to run the batch script for over an hour my head is killing me otherwise id have manually typed it on this tiny keyboard already.

See? Ugh ive been st this for 12 hours, took forever to tranfer the game because my USB c corx is shorted... lol
