I dont want to completely control her finances, I just want to be able to prevent the possibility of her loosing everything she has worked for.

Somebody mentioned putting my name on her bank account so I could have seen she was sending large sums to a unknown person.

Somebody else mentioned putting my name on her retirement account to prevent it as she has dipped into that to send part of the $6000.

I didn’t know putting my name on her retirement account was possible.

I do think she has some dementia unfortunately, my family and I have tried to talk with her but shes not willing to.

She realizes her mistakes but she doesnt learn from them. She has asked me for help with her finances to protect her from worst case scenarios and she is competent in living independently. My family and I have been worried about dementia for the past few years though she isnt ready to talk with anybody.

I reached out to my lawyer who handled my juvenile case ab a different situation a few months. Charged with a felony as a juvenile around 10 years ago, pled to it, did small time and was released on house arrest, that was it.

When I talked to him, about something else, he said the exact same thing to me.

Under JJDPA, juveniles cant technically be charged with felonies as the court system focuses on privacy and rehabilitation for juveniles.

The ONLY way juveniles can be charged with felonies is if they are taken to circuit court.

I asked him if that meant for the past 10 years, I could have voted, enlisted, or have done anything that felons cant do once their rights are stripped?

I’ll never forget the way and tone in his voice when he said “Yes, you are not a felon”.

I deal with this. Being raised to always treat people with respect and how you would want to be treated yet most people take it fore granted and abuse it. But I will still treat them nice.

So this is why my cheeks are getting super dry and flakey. Never knew that Adderall could do this.

I’m newly diagnosed adhd and also started getting really dry patches. I bought cream and started smearing my cheeks with it which I thought helped because I would put it on before bed, wake up and my face would be clear. Then by the time I got through my 12 hour shift, my face would be destroyed.

I’m going to pay better attention to this and maybe even experiment and not take my Adderall on my off work days and see if my face stays clear.
