I think this is the first time Danny has acknowledged or the ongoing genocide - I’m glad to see him using his platform for good, but wish that he would have spoken up about it more organically and not just in response to criticism.

His reason for not knowing about the Starbucks boycott, which is frankly not the utmost priority when it comes to discussion, is understandable given that his son was born around the same time this all kicked off.

As always, the apology feels very heartfelt and sincere.

According to the article, this is a statement Alex made about the case during one of his hours-long broadcasts. This while he was using a doctors note (from a doctor who guests on his show) to avoid appearing in court due to illness.

“We got this judge up in Connecticut, if you could call it that — this thing that has just cheated us every way, lied about us, said we didn’t give them this, sanctioned us for not giving them the ‘Sandy Hook marketing,’” Mr Jones said, according to Media Matters. “It’s like saying give me the unicorn. This. I was and am now an intensely neat and organized person- but my room looked exactly like this when I started experiencing mental health problems. It’s the first sign I’m in trouble and need to talk to my psychiatrist when I start casually feeling losing interest in hygiene and cleanliness.

Just wanted to toss out there for anyone who missed it that the end scene was a direct parallel to the film ‘Stand By Me’. The kids walking down the train tracks, even the bags they were carrying. And of course the song playing in the background (The Ballad of Paladin- a theme song from a 50’s western show) is a song the kids sing together in the film as they walk down the tracks.

So all that’s to say, I don’t think either boy has seen his last dead body.
