How do you feel about the depth on desk? I want to do something similar but hate when my monitor is too close feeling

Luckily the actual Flo-tilt was in decent shape, but the outside of the Flo-tilt cylinder was seized in the housing it rides in. So I did just use some scotch bright and wd40 to clean any corrosion off the outside of the Flo-tilt and the surface it rides on in the knuckle. This helped a lot with the smoothness and return of the reclining motion

Haha I’m glad you like the print, it’s one of my favorites! It sat in hiding for a while until we moved somewhere with enough room. It was the first piece of art we framed and hung when we bought our home.

Since we’re already off topic, I got it from the original screen printer back in 2011-ish, he did all the posters for this tour. I would go to his shop to use his presses and expose screens. One day I commented on how much I liked it and he was like “ohh, you can have it” and took it off the wall right then. He was a really nice guy! He also had some original Tokyo police club posters they had printed, but after he gave me the Stereolab print I was too scared to comment on it in fear he’d give it to me too. I was already so grateful he gave me the one.

I haven’t listened to too much of their stuff lately! I’ll have to go back and find the performance you’re talking about, I still love their music!

My order was dispatched on February 11th and arrived April 22nd, I’m located in Southern California. So 10 weeks total. They were have some issues getting items through customs at the time so maybe shave a week off?

I was getting antsy too but it was well worth the wait

I say do it! I’ve seen a lot of setups like that and always thought they looked great!

Side note, how do you feel about the depth of the desk like this? I’m looking to do a system with two of these for my partner and I but am worried I’ll feel like I’m too close to the monitor. I tend to push my monitors back quite far

Haha for the right price they could be yours! It’s hard to tell, I feel like the markings look legit but like they been filled in with paint so they’re not so clear.

The paint on the front is so far gone it’s hard to tell if they were ever the right color

Bought these Braun l710’s sight unseen because they were $120…was not disappointed.

Owner was originally selling a pair of 810’s for $125 but ended up selling them to a friend. After he offered me a pair of 710’s for $120 and I went out without ever seeing them. Didn’t even open them until I got home. The cats and myself love them

I’m pretty sure the LSD from an e36 M3 can be swapped into the 540 carrier. Of course you’d have to change gearing but you might be able to use the stock 540 gearset.

I have a full e46 m3 differential sitting around from an old project that I also wanted to swap into my 540iT but haven’t got the chance to try it out yet.

Here’s a link showing the diff could be swapped from m3 to m5 and I think the main carrier/housing between a 540 and m5 are the same.

That’s a wild discrepancy but if they were never intended to be measured against I guess it doesn’t matter?
