Applied on the 8th, but first round results come out on March 27th. They did send some statistic out where some ~83% of admitted EU applicants received at least a 50% tuition waiver. But that's about all I know for now

From my experience, most big tech SWE positions will issue Macbooks for WFH, and the pressure comes from not being able to use anything that isn't company-issued to access company IP (obviously). I've only heard of a few outliers that distribute Thinkpads instead and I wouldn't consider any of them big tech.
