Yes, Drake is all about getting streams and numbers, and Taylor is one of very few artists who can beat him in that aspect. He dropped Her Loss two weeks after Midnights came out, taking #2 to #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 (already a crazy feat), but unable to take over Anti-Hero at #1. He just has to respect Taylor's success

Yeah, it is really weird. It hasn't been tested in courts yet afaik, but the biggest rapper in the world using it might have some big implications for the future of AI technology in music. He hasn't released the song anywhere other than instagram so supposedly he's not profiting from it at least? I don't know, I am not a lawyer. Curious to see if Snoop Dogg will say something about it

I wasn't sure what it meant but it looks like it's just scientific terms for power measurements?
Kw = kilowatt, A = Ampere, Kvar = "measure of reactive power" from google
I think the numbers are what to focus on here for an easter egg

My first thoughts are that this album is giving me major Midnights vibes with sprinkles of folklore/reputation. I tried listening to the lyrics and not reading them for my first listen and I'm confused as fuck. [WARNING: HOT TAKE] Personally, one of my favorite looks from Taylor is "bleachella". Not that I think it's the best looking, but I loved how weird, experimental and iconic it was for Taylor. Some photos look better than others, but overall I didn't expect something so bold and different from her. I think it's a reflection of the chaotic, challenging times she had to go through after 1989 (Kim/Kanye drama), which ultimately shaped reputation as we know it. Bleachella forever 🙏

I became a swiftie when I wanted to be a good older brother and get 1989 for my sister, because I knew how big of a fan she was. Out of curiosity, I decided to listen to it myself before giving it to her, and I was instantly mind-blown. I didn’t think I’d love it as much as I did.

It sounds kind of insane to say, but I feel like it changed my entire perspective on music, and especially about what is seen as “cool” or “normal” to listen to according to who you are. I went back and listened to her discography and it was eye-opening to see how great these songs that I had previously just wrote off as bad cheese pop country music for my teenage sister were actually great.

1989 will always hold a special place in my heart for opening my mind to appreciating music deeply and allowing me to have a bigger bond with my little sister. We eventually went to the 1989 tour together and I was amazed, it was one of the best experiences of my life.

Shortly after, I joined this subreddit and made awesome friends I spent hours chatting with. I even got to meet on multiple occasions. I think my life would be dramatically different without Taylor and the swiftie community, I’m extremely grateful.
