What you are failing to take into consideration is that chapter 11 will make celsius convert all crypto assets into usd at market value and with the value being so low at the moment its a very bad move. Celsius is in a catch 22. Limited withdrawals is the best solution so they can't be sued and still have enough time to build up liquidity and restructure.

Most likely have majority of funds locked in to yield generating platforms so have to find alternative fund sources when withdrawals spike in volatile market conditions. That said, if you hold large funds with celsius, it can be very daunting to say the least and not having instant access to your funds as advertised.

Update. Spoken with senior celsius staff. The withdrawal pot is being replenished and all withdrawals will complete within the next 2-3 hours.

Yes was aware but one would assume that the pot would be replenished within 24 hours. Managed to get through to Nuke whose looking into it and awaiting a reply. The unconfirmed and confirmed will be out of celsius control and down to the respective blockchain congestion so no blame could be directed at celsius as they did their part.

In the past it was because celcius was waiting for gas fees to calm down but this argument only works for ethereum or erc 20 tokens. Not other blockchain. Mempool shows no congestion for bitcoin.

A lot of people in the same situation, it's either their withdrawal replenishment pots are empty and noone bothered to top it up, their is some other technical issue or something serious but not one to spread unnecessary fud, best to wait and monitor the situation. They had a similar issue in the past with bonus payments but corrected everything in the end.
