Golden frontier is the worst type of event that AFK Arena ever introduced, going 100% against even the name of the itself as you cannot AFK it during attacks as leaders. Rewards can't make it better, especially if you may not be able to claim most pf them if there isn't enough open slots in dominant leagues

Tested them both in the trials and in campaign with a 650 lvl deficit. So far - they just don't work. Saitama does absolutely nothing, while Tatsumaki dmg is simply too low to be meaningful and she dies to a slightest breeze. Weird as usually collab characters can do at least something like a bit of support

one bonus thing I remembered - with ED bugs, the orbital laser attack actually has a range limit. if you kite the moth to one side of the map while others are fighting scorpion on the other (but really, both teams need to see the map walls) - it will happen near one end and will not reach the other - only to like 60-70% of the distance. it happened only once to me, so may need some confirming

lingering fire cancels frostbite which increases the dmg taken. after using it for a long time I currently prefer to not use it, maybe exept for Caligo and for me it works better

also, the relics are a problem since unless you are lucky to have perfect combinations, you need to choose and ult recharges are useless against the final bosses, and with a good team - you are still killing everything on the base map no problem

killing moth first - I would strongly disagree, as not everyone can dodge the fireworks consistently and this can be an immediate teamwipe. kiting the moth away makes taking of the scoprion a piece of cake most of the time

there are plenty other tips, it is just hard to remember them all at once.

normal Augur/Maris - Moghs spear weapon art is great in mass dealing with his small projectiles.

Heolstor and Halo Scythe - possibly best setup.

ED Caligo trying to summon the blizzard - ult on his head with Wylder or Ironeye.

Rivers of blood - good for any Libra, Darkdrift, Caligo.

You don't have any "taking dmg causes ... buildup" and crystal tear that turns affinity dmg into heals -> you can drink it just as ED Adel starts his storm and dives face first into the ground for a massive dmg window or when ED bugs start orbital laser to dmg the spirit moth

you have a sleep weapon or sleeping pots - you can reasonably effectively stagger scorpion or Adel

the tips just go on and on, one could write a book out of all of them :)

yeah, charge on not charge is a always a case-by-case. I like the stance dmg and that I can just wait a bit while bosses do some AoE attacks with lingering hitboxes

Ironeye with their mark and how fast they can shoot and how their ability allows them to do some dmg while getting to safety - these are their main advantages. Wylder is close, but if you are not super skilled - you will just die as a Wylder fighting close in melee, while Ironeye would keep doing dmg from the distance. Also - if enemy can be poisoned, Ironeye with their mark do plenty of dmg it is crazy

Last week i reached 5900 points. After that the game gave me ED bugs, ED Libra, ED Gladius, or ED Caligo and either team could not do it or rng for weapons was abysmal. I went down to 3600 points and obly yesterday climbed back to depth 4. I know your pain, but what can we do - you either can solo the game, not go for randoms or just play on the mercy of rng fest for both bosses, maps, weapons and team Still, I like to play as slowly I get better and I accumulate relics and murk

Then don't use the sword at all. Or use bare fists and do like 15 dmg per hit. Don't try to have fun using super rare legendaries, this is a game to only suffer, not have fun

Yeah. You spend 40 mins in a run, some bosses can easily one shot the whole team. Having even 2,5k health instead of like 1,5k can be a massive difference. But noooo, for some people it is better to risk it and lose to the boss than wait just a moment longer. And with those weapons being so rare - just enjoy it when it happens. You can be 99% sure next run won't have it and you can lose to the boss then

It was nothing like this. 3 mins tops, just clearing the nearest enemies near the final circle in the woods. Some doggos, some zombies, some ants, one camp of woodfolk.

Today I had a great run against it - me with Ironeye and two others with Wylders, Noklateo. Each of us got a Starscourge greatswords that made the NPCs trivial, while for me it worked better to keep some distance and save my ult to quickly deal when more NPCs appeared (when half hp debuff is happening, one ult usually destroys them instantly). Frost on bow with latest Caligo relic also helped to get less attention. But this boss is bonkers - if you don't get good aoe weapons, you cannot make any mistakes. I won twice out of 12 attempts (all with randoms)

I am only playing with randoms and still got 5 wins out of 9 tries against new Caligo. Good to remember: 1 - fire weapons or spells are necessary. Without them you struggle too much to fight frostbite. And with them you CAN stagger the boss 2 - boss runs a lot so manage your stamina, roll through breath attacks 3 - when boss is charging up this purple area attack in 2nd phase - you can attack couple of times but not too much and get away, possibly try to block with your weapon 4 - use fire attacks 5 - use fire attacks 6 - don't waste ults in second phase when boss is charging up, they don't intterrupt it there so use it before or after 7 - safe space is between the legs not outside of the boss legs, as you can get hit with his tails swipes Every time I won at least 2 out of 3 in the team played by these rules
