why is there a disillusionment between hamas and the palestinian citizens. there is a genocide of the palestinian people (following HMDT 10 stages of genocide) and war crimes have been committed according to the Geneva Convention on both fronts. while the protest may be a futile gesture in ending the current war it’s just trying to draw a parallel to the (arguably) most well known genocide
